We've dined here for several years about once a month or once every two months. Service was exceptional and staff was great (even called me when I left my credit card). Food was not great. We split 16 oz ribeye and honestly it was so thin it felt like we were eating one of those steaks from the dollar tree. Mac and cheese was cold. Food seems to be declining. Menu has remained stagnant as well.
The filet, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes were excellent. We had reservations at 8:45. That time slot was available to reserve but were very rushed throughout dinner. The first thing we were told was the kitchen closes at 9. No real greeting. Server did the BARE minimum. Didn't bring the chocolate and rose with the bill or anything. That's just tacky to rush people through an expensive dinner.
Overall the birthday celebration went very well! The only comment I have is serving steak on a cold plate, which in turn made the steak cold. All other sides were warm as they were served in a warmed plate. Our service was the best part of the evening! We will return!
