They have some cute t-shirts for sale and a seating area in the back. However, weather-permitting, I usually enjoy people-watching from the tables in the front patio.

I was so excited because I was craving a hot dog and am close to Grmpy Dog today. My coworker and I each ordered different hot dogs and they were just.... Awful 😭. I'm beyond disappointed and embarrassed because I was buying lunch for my coworker and it was awful. The cheesy dog had a slice of Kraft American cheese (unmelted), sweet chili and a soggy bun. My poor coworker stated ' I've had better hot dogs at a Love's gas station...'. I had the Grumpy Dog with soggy bun but the MOST disappointing part is both hot dogs were BOILED. Guys, They boil their hot dogs 😭. I've been to several hot dog joints and have been served a grilled hot dog. I could expect a boiled dog if it was a T-Ball concession stand but this is an entire restaurant dedicated to serving hot dogs. So buyer, beware.... They boil their hot dogs!

Traveled through downtown Wetumpka before a HS wrestling tournament and was on the hunt for a hotdog. Googled “best hot dog near me” and it took us right to grumpy dogs! No lies detected! Delicious assortment of hot dogs with something for everyone. Quaint, inexpensive, and tasty! 10/10

We came here twice and u got the frito bandito, which is a hot dog with chili, cheese sauce and fritos on top. You can get it without jalapeños if you want or on the side. It was very good. The 2nd time I got the chicken salad sandwich which was so so good! It had walnuts and I think dried cranberries in it and lettuce. The chicken was particularly good and moist. They have a small area to sit inside or tables outside. The woman at the checkout was so nice and the food came out fast. I'd recommend.
