We went for the first time tonight for our anniversary. Hands down one of the best places we’ve ever eaten. Focaccia bread was melt in your mouth soft and seasoned perfectly. Fried green tomatoes were just the right amount of tart with crispy breading and a tasty sauce with shrimp. My eggplant delacroix was fantastic, not soggy at all and the sauce was so creamy. My husband said his ribeye was cooked to perfection, tender and delicious flavor. Asparagus and fries were really good, too. Salads had house made dressing and our server (who was also excellent) let me pick a dessert on the house to take home. I went with the chocolate peanut butter pie and enjoyed it in my pajamas!

The ribeye I ordered was over cooked and a very thin cut of meat. I sent it back and when they returned with a different one it was tasteless. Not them same as when the original owner ran it. Would not recommend the steak.

Took my wife here on a date today. Been living in holtville 10 years and have never been. The building has history, the atmosphere was very intimate and the food was phenomenal. Jamie was our server and was spot on. Apps, salad and entrees arrived very hot, spaced in perfect timing and was prepared by chefs that represented care for the customer experience. If you haven't been I definitely recommend. Make a reservation online. Thanks Our Place, we will be back.

She gave great recommendations, checked on us just the right amount, and made the whole meal even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find someone who truly seems to love what they do, and it showed. I had dinner at Our Place Café and was honestly blown away. The place feels super cozy and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. I ordered a steak and it was cooked perfectly and the seafood my friend got was just as good. We also split a dessert, and it tasted homemade, like something out of your grandma's kitchen. The bar was a nice surprise too. Great selection of wine and some really good cocktails. I’ll definitely be going back.

Our Place Cafe is my favorite restaurants! The atmosphere is great, very comfortable. My wife and I eat there for the past three new years eve's. They have a great selection of drinks and Karson is a talented bartender that can make any drink you could want. They have a great variety of choices on the menu with a great staff to complement it. If you have eaten here you are missing out!

Had a wonderful birthday dinner here. Jamie is exceptional as always. Food was wonderful as expected. Steaks cooked PERFECTLY! We didn’t have room for dessert but got the key lime pie martini and was a perfect ending to our meal.

Such a great date night spot! We even took our little one with us and everyone was so welcoming and accommodating to a toddler. Food is always delicious! Our personal favorites are the crab claws, chargrilled oysters, and the steak! Catherine is the best waitress, too! Be sure to ask for her when you go!

My wife and I celebrated Valentine’s Day there last night. We love the ambience of the café and the service, food and overall the night was just an exceptional. Our server was Brittany and she was very thorough on the menu, very kind and offered us advice on their selections. We enjoyed our dinner so much, had a great time and it was nice to celebrate. Not only Valentine’s Day, but the anniversary of when we got engaged. Thanks again for a great time, we will be back.
