Great brisket, very lean and tender. I’m not even a fan of BBQ (my husband is) but this was really good. We had the meat and baked potato. Potato was huge, with a lightly salt-coated crusty skin.
Ashdown Big Jake's is always a good stop. Free beans w dine in meal. I got the 1/2 lb plate w brisket (request wet or fatty) and turkey. To save you $3 @ plate. Get water.

This is probably the best place I've ate in Arkansas. Me & my husband ate here. The food was delicious, the service was awesome, I would definitely go back again. If you're looking for good southern food and BBQ , definitely recommend this place... 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
