**La Patrona | Cocina Mexicana** is one of the best places to eat in Ashdown. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. Everything tried was excellent, especially the fajitas, quesadillas, steak a la mexicana with a cheese rellano, and the chicken with rice and quaso. The enchiladas were great too. The fajitas were mouthwatering and packed with flavor, coming out hot and perfectly seasoned. Taco Tuesday is a highlight with $1.25 tacos that have incredible flavor. The chips and dip are a favorite. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome. The restaurant is clean with a great atmosphere, and service is consistently top-notch. Food is brought out quickly. The only drawback was the salsa, which was tomato heavy with little pepper or cilantro flavor. Overall, a great lunch spot in the Ashdown area.
