Fox Creek BBQ Restaurant

Me an my family have ate there 3 times in the last 3 years all three times the food came out slow an , mostly cold . 3 strikes an you are out . the radio talks it up a lot of Hype . Not saying to steer clear . But we wont be back . Baked potato was so cold cheese wouldnt melt or the butter . the meat on the Wifes potato. The meat was congealled the Meat wasnt remotely warm . kids grilled cheese came out 10 mins later their fries came out Hot but it would have been nice to eat their fries with the sandwiches . very much the same the last 2 times before. My husband and I stopped by Fox Creek BBQ for lunch yesterday. We’re not from Batesville so we didn’t know where to go, but BBQ sounded good. I mapped restaurants nearby and this one was a couple of blocks from where we were so we gave it a try. We were immediately impressed with the decor and ambiance. The staff were pleasant and our sweet little waitress did an excellent job on her first day there! We were also fortunate to meet the owner who gave us a bit of history about the building, it originally being the old train depot, as well as his background in barbecue competitions. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal of barbecued pork sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, and fried pickles. That was hands down the best barbecue we’ve had in many years!! It’s definitely worth the drive. We’ll be back!

Tried the new sides. Mac and cheese a little bland, but okra was good. Pulled pork is better than average, brisket very good, however chicken is processed. SW egg roll very good

Great food and entertainment. The service is always a little slow but it always feels like they just need more than 2 servers.

My dinner at Fox Creek was fantastic! The service was exceptional, our drinks stayed refilled and our food was hot. We tried the fried Jalapeños tonight and we will be ordering again upon our return. Our daughter had a brisket sandwich and crinkle cut fries with sweet and sassy sauce. My wife and I had the Fox Creek Philly with smoked brisket, sauté onions, jalapeños, and pepper jack on a hoagie with house favorite homestyle chips made daily from real potatoes. Atmosphere during the week is casual and comfortable family place. On the weekend it is often the place to be with live music. Don’t forget the Peanut Butter Pie! You can’t go wrong at Fox Creek. Patrick Collins knows BBQ!

At first you think well the prices are great and affordable hem you realize you have to pay for all of your sides separately ? portions are small on the meat combo but we were traveling so not like we needed a full meal. Found a sharp bone in my baked beans but that was free and the baked beans were really good ??

The staff were sweet, the music was good. The place was about 85 degrees and so loud. The food was a one and honestly, if it would let me rate less, I would. Neither one of us could eat our meals. The steak had no seasoning at all and was impossible to chew. The potatoes were dorty and dry. I did eat most of my potato but the brisket that was in it was just pieces if flavorless fat. So for $75 dollars we ate half a salad and part of a potato. That was it. Very, very, very disappointed. Would not recommend. I'm sure some of their bbq is fine but beyond upset that our date night dinner was so disappointing and not to mention, sweaty! At least turn the air down!

Got a pork sandwich and fries for lunch. Meat was dried out bad like it had been warmed up in the microwave several times and the fries was not done cold and hard. $20.00 bad experience! The waitress done a good job for being the only one they had. Will not recommend.
