Tried Freds for the first time with my family. The staff were all very polite and friendly. The food was even better than the service and it was clean inside. We will definitely be back, thank you again Freds!

My friend and I ate here several years ago and were not impressed. We decided to give it another try because we both LOVE catfish. I had the grilled catfish seasoned with their house seasonings, and my friend had their fried filets. My friend was less than impressed because she didn't care for the breading. I absolutely LOVED my grilled cat fillets! We both really enjoyed the hushpuppies and brown beans. The baked potatoes were wonderful! Service was OK, and our server kept yawning whenever she was at our table. Whatever... Fish was fantastic. We will definitely be back!!!

When we arrived there were only 5 tables of people 10 people total over half had their food . We sat down and waited over 10 minutes and my wife finally asked if we could get drinks which arrived 5 minutes later and we were passed off to another waitress who took another 15 minutes to come to our table. Then another 5 to come back and get our order . Now the real wait begins in which lasted an additional 30 minutes and never got food or explanation to what the issue was. Never again!!!

Me, husband and brother went in on a Tuesday well after lunch, waited 10 minutes just for drinks, after getting hush puppies they were so greasy couldn’t eat them, got beans not bad waited almost 30 more minutes on food it never came so we got up and left, the place was not packed and there was 3 waitresses and 1 table with mb 10 people who already had their food. Not worth the time.
My fiance and I ate here and it was awful. The service was terrible, we literally waited 30 minutes for our food which was a salad and a sandwich with fried okra. People that arrived after us got their food first. The okra was served cold and the food overall wasn't that great. Then to top of the cake we were over charged. My salad was 8.99 and his sandwich was 6.99 plus the okra which was 3.99. that total came back as 31.97 which shouldn't have been that much at all. First and last time I'll ever eat there.
