This place has really gone down hill ..steaks not being cooked properly. Pasta with no taste at all . Potatoe wedges that have no taste. Ask to sit by the window to be able to see the river and being told it's reserved but for the 1 1/2 we're there Noone shows up .. only good experience was the waitress actually paid attention and was great

We arrived at 4:44pm on a Friday. We had a mid size party 9 adults. To start the experience in and they first red flag they could not tell us how long of a wait time. We said ok and waited. As time went on large groups came in some said they would wait while others moved on. I notice that a large group which seamed to be a privet room event which i understand no issues as it is that time of year.however the leader of that group said they hated to ask but they needed to add 10 more people. At this time they said that they had a table for us but now the kitchen needed to catch up. Apparently, the add on in the privet group now had to make time for the kitchen to accommodate. We hung in as we at this time had been waiting 50 minutes. Again the privet party came out and asked for another accommodation. In the span of 75 minutes 5 large groups at least 6 to 12 came in and then walked out. You lost way more business and money by accommodating what was to be only 25 people. Wile 60 people waited and then walk out. The red flag is that your host could not calculate wait times. Had she been up front with wait times and not extended the unknown amount of wait time. I would have been able to make a informed choice to wait or move on as well as the other 60 people that also walked out.

It's a steak and seafood restaurant that has live music on weekends and lots of tables and a patio that overlook the White River. Prices run between $10-$30 depending on what type of steak or seafood you choose. It was little crowded at first when we arrived at seven pm and they have a bar and drinks speciaesl for each night. The place where the hostess sat us was towards the back and had poor lighting and I had to use the flashlight on my phone in order to see the menu little dark in the back of the restaurant. Food is cooked to your choice of steaks and our meals were in the price range of $73 for the both of us.

We placed a to go order for deep fried mushrooms and got 1 order of buttons and 1 stems. I had never tried the stemS but my husband and I both were instantly in love! The taste was spectacular, thEy seemed to melt in our mouths and we got Full trays. We have gotten orders since and they are consistently wonderful!
We have stopped going there. They have become so insanely overpriced.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday at The River and Sandbar in Batesville Ar, and it was a wonderful experience! The place is very nice, cozy, and clean, with a beautiful view of the river that made the afternoon even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, and our server was very attentive and friendly. We even received a free dessert for my husband’s birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend this place for great food, great service, and a great atmosphere!

My wife and I went there and had a really nice time! From being out-of-town we wanted to experience someplace local. The staff was friendly, the burgers and drinks were good, and our bill was just over $50 w/drinks! The interior was very open and easy to walk around. They could easily fit more tables/chairs if they needed to.
The only suggestion I would make, not a negative but more of an observation, we would have sat outside but there wasn't a whole lot of lighting. The string lights that was used inside would have been adequate for the outdoor seating area.
