My MIL is Guatemalan, and we pop in her for a multitude of stuff; from ingredients to the occasional lunch.This day we popped in for lunch, and we both got some pork street tacos. Now, they're not your taco bell tacos, so if this is what you want, go there, not here.It helps if you aren't afraid to try more authentic foods, and places, in general, and it does help if you speak enough Spanish to at least get your wants met. I luck out cos of my MIL, and being in the family...

Without hesitation, I can say that this is quite possibly the best Mexican food you will ever have. Service leaves a little to be desired, but the food is just SO GOOD that I can't complain at all. Highly recommended!!!

I've eaten all over the world. Germany, the UK, India (allll over India), Mexico, Argentina -- this joint is AMAZING. The salsa is the BEST I've ever had. The pupusas are on point. The fried plantains with crema--fantastic: soft and mushy, with just a tiny bit of burn. Geez. I love Batesville, partly because of this place.
