“My husband and I stopped by Fox Creek BBQ for lunch yesterday. We’re not from Batesville so we didn’t know where to go, but BBQ sounded good. I mapped restaurants nearby and this one was a couple of blocks from where we were so we gave it a try. We were immediately impressed with the decor and ambiance. The staff were pleasant and our sweet little waitress did an excellent job on her first day there! We were also fortunate to meet the owner who gave us a bit of history about the building, it originally being the old train depot, as well as his background in barbecue competitions. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal of barbecued pork sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, and fried pickles. That was hands down the best barbecue we’ve had in many years!! It’s definitely worth the drive. We’ll be back!“
