A little late posting this but we stopped in on St Patrick’s day without thinking about it and this place was slammed. Our 20 min wait turned into 30 min. It took a while for our server Lauran to show up and she looked tired and frustrated. We asked her what we should know for our first time there and she let us know that they were running at critical low staff volume in the bar, servers, and especially the kitchen. We wanted to wait and give this place a chance as it was our anniversary dinner and we didn’t mind a slow night. Lauran made sure we were well taken care of and still had an amazing night with delicious food (that actually came out super fast)! We had one incident where our infant spilled my glass and the manager Sara refused to let me clean it up even though it was my child’s mess. It was nice to see a manger jumping in to do grunt work while the servers kept at their job and Sara made sure my drink was full and back on the table in no time! I highly recommend this place and would make sure everyone knows delays wont ruin your night if you choose Bentonville Tacos and Tamales for your meal.

my husband and i are visiting family in B-ville and are thrilled to have discovered this restaurant on our date night. the vibes just feel cozy and good and are reminiscent of hip Austin; and the food is bursting with flavor and freshness. i ordered the steak fajitas and was impressed with the flavor!! and my husband was very content and happy with the vegan tamales. the vegan queso was delicious and my margarita was perfect. our server was kind a pleasant and friendly. highly recommend this place — enjoy!

Three vegetarians order take out from Bentonville Taco & Tamale Co and leave pleasantly surprised! The vegetarian tamales and enchiladas were great! Would love to see a vegetarian taco option. Salsa selection was bomb! Definitely recommend.

One of the best Mexican restaurants we have tried. They have some waiting time if you go on the weekends. Coming to the food, they were very fresh and delicious. They serve you real quick and our waiters very sweet and attentive. We tried the trio salsa dip, cheese enchiladas and the sweet potato tamales. I guess they are one of the very few restaurants which serves vegan tamales. Definitely worth a try!

Bentonville Taco and Tamale is fantastic.
I do wish the barstools weren't stationary and that a "short person" foot ledge was added. Small touches that only a select few may appreciate. It absolutely does not diminish my favorite downtown place.
The staff is always friendly and ready to serve.
One last note for owners, please be prepared to play any and all Hog games. There were 3 couples (us including) at the bar trying to stream on our devices.

November 2024: ordered 2 appetizers, 2 cocktails, 2 entrees, and wanted dessert but they were out of 2 items. This time we did not love everything. I'm glad we came back because the service was still great, but the food fell flat, and I was left disappointed, but I know I dont have to come back any time soon. For reference, this visit we ordered queso with chili, shrimp appetizer, red enchiladas, and pickle tacos.

October 2024: Loved everything! I don't love Local Lime but I think it's just okay. This place is so much better! Cocktails were fresh and fun; trio dip (red salsa, green salsa, and onion dip) so delicious; tortillas were hot and pillowy; and entrees were great. We had the ribeye & chicken fajitas, pork tamale, enchilada, and Backyard chicken taco. We didn't do dessert but we will next time!

Had the chargrilled steak tacos (ribeye) delicious the meat wasn't as tender as you would assume a ribeye would be and the steak pieces were really thick and long making taking a bit difficult

First time in bentonville and this place was recommended to us! Everything was amazing! We got there a little after 5 on a Saturday night and we're able to get seated immediately. The whole place is super cute and fun to look around. Our server was sweet and attentive! The chips and sauce trio was delicious, the jalapeno and onion dip was our favorite! The chips were warm and the hint of the lime in the salt was a winner! We got tamales, one sweet potato and two pork and they were delicious! 3 was filling with the chips and dip. Also got the beef enchila skillet with a side of black beans and rice. Super cheesy and very good, also got the expresso martini. Would recommend!
