This is your basic sports bar and grill type of place. Service was great, atmosphere was sportsy, bar area was full, food was greasy. Appetizer was the beer pretzel sticks. With the cheese it was a nice balance of flavor and texture. Solo, just eh. 10oz. steak was thick and cooked oddly. Edges were medium, inner circle medium rare, center almost bloody. Great food again! 2nd time eating at Big Whiskey. Dine in this time. Bourbon smothered pork chops, mashed potatoes, and tomato bisque soup. All 3 were fantastic. The mashed potatoes were chunky just that right amount, and very flavorful. Pork chops could be cut with a butter knife, and the portions are large. I had a tall jack and coke that was mixed perfectly. My wife had the Cod tacos, onion rings and chips and salsa. She lived her meal as well. I tried the onion...

Located across the street from my hotel, and food was so good, I ate there every night. Excellent food, friendly atmosphere, and a large bar which is great for solo travelers. Highly recommend!
