“Alicia is a great waitress, and Ozzy is an excellent cook! They were awesome! We got there just a few minutes before closing, but we were welcomed in, and we had the pleasure of sitting and enjoying our meal. Try the strawberry French stuffed toast. You won't be disappointed! Thank you, Alicia and Ozzy. You two are rock stars!!“
“My family and I visit the Hiwassee Diner at least once a week over the last several months, its become are pre or post church services routine. We have been consistently presented great meals, from: open faced roast beef sandwich, burgers, and prime rib. Oh, by the way, their pies are awesome, my favorite is chocolate cream, coconut cream and when they have it, apple (absolute favorite) pies. The meals are inexpensive and delicious, no it's not Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, but what you get is young staff members who greet you with a smile. I am happy to support a small business owner and his staff who are always supportive of my family's dining experience. Leonard H“
“We had breakfast for lunch today at Sam's diner. It was a quiet Saturday before Superbowl Sunday. I had French toast and scrambled eggs. My husband had an all meat omelet with home fries and biscuits and gravy. The eggs were good, the French toast average. The omelet was tasty and stuffed with ingredients. The stars of the meal were the biscuits and gravy. So good that my husband lost half of them to my fork.Home fries were crispy and seemed like little square french fries. Would have been great with ketchup if we had had room in our tummies to finish them. We will go back for those biscuits and gravy.“
“Was in town visiting amid noticed this place and went in to try it out since I love Seafood especially Poke Bowls. They had a great variety of recipes you could pick or a create your own Poke Bowl recipe. I took my Poke Bowl to go along with a Hawaiian Sun Drink and when I was able to taste it, it was delicious! Tastes fresh and was the perfect Poke Bowl I could have asked for.“
