Y'all, this was my first time ever going to Connies, but I saw this Facebook ad, and knew I had to try these pancakes. I couldn't believe this level food was available in this tiny town. First, there's just a little strip of parking, otherwise you have to cross the street, so be prepared to hustle.. The whole restaurant only has maybe a dozen tables, and the main room was full, so we had to go down to the one with the lights off, but more privacy. Bathrooms are Polly pocket size, but clean, and definitely warm. But the food! Lemon honey Pancakes with marscapone, some kind of raspberry sauce with fresh raspberries, this was mouthwatering, no butter and syrup needed! My partner has a normal breakfast, and it was all good, biscuits and gravy, eggs and hashbrown, and the sausage was cooked beautifully with a brown sear ( no grey meat being eaten here)! Seriously, would make the trip to eat here again.

Yum! We stopped by Connie’s after hiking 8 miles and we were so ready to eat.
I was so thirsty and wanted a big iced coffee. The young girl who took our drink orders just got it and brought me my iced coffee with a side glass of ice so I could keep it cold. The hubs got unsweet tea.
Everything we ordered was so fresh and so delicious. I ordered pancakes, of course, and got two eggs and sausage with them. They were so fluffy and hot! I totally dominated the plate today. 🤣🤣🤣
The hubs got corned beef hash with potatoes and sourdough toast. He said his food was all fresh ingredients and no dehydrated hash browns. He was so impressed.
We will for sure go back. I was uncomfortable walking in the door when every single person in the place turned to look at us. I completely missed the specials board. But I’ve seen the specials on Facebook and, wow, I think I want to try some of that stuff someday. Now I know where the board is located so I won’t miss it when I come in. 😅
Our server was also excellent. Excellent service all the way around. Great place to stop for a meal.
