We have been to Gaston’s many times and it is always excellent quality. Salad bar is soooo good!
We went for the Mother's Day buffet today. We let them know my husband has Celiac, and they sent the chef out. He was incredibly accommodating. He talked to him about everything that was an option and the things that weren't. PLUS he personally made him-shrimp, chicken, green beans, & eggs Benedict. Fantastic fishing experience. Every employee i met was friendly & nice. Of our 4 guides, 3 were great. the 4th...well if you learn your guide is "crazy mike" just go back to your room and watch TV... you'll have a more enjoyable day.
Every person that helped us at the resort was so very friendly and went above expectations. Phil at the dock was spectacular in teaching my son the specifics of what he needed for the water movement of the day and even taught him to clean the fish he caught. I can't say enough about the beauty of the trails and river walk as well. Overall everything was 5 🌟

Gaston's White River Resort delivers top-notch service at a great price. The restaurant serves excellent meals, including chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken, cooked to perfection. Guests have noted that the food is delicious and well-priced, with an atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. The resort's rooms are a bit rustic but nice and are super clean, providing a peaceful and safe environment. The entire place is beautifully maintained, and the courteous, friendly, and professional staff significantly enhance the experience. Even in challenging situations, such as a tornado, the employees go above and beyond to ensure guests are taken care of. The resort offers guided fishing trips, which can lead to fantastic fishing experiences and impressive catches. While some guests have mentioned that room prices can be high, especially for two people, the overall experience remains wonderful. The view from Gaston's is noted to be maybe the best in Arkansas, adding to the magical atmosphere right on the water, making it a must-return destination for creating lasting memories.
