Do not remember what the listing on the menu was. Had 3 enchiladas, one beef, one chicken, one shrimp. Had mexican rice, guacamole, and a small salad consisting of lettuce, tomato. They apparently knew absolutely nothing about making an enchilada. Each of the 3 consisted of a soft tortilla whapped around shredded beef, chicken, or shrimp. Nothing else in it. They need a new cook or a new supervisor.
Delicious food! My family & I are passing through on our travels back home. Stopped for the night and needed some dinner, found this place. Food was fresh and cooked perfectly. Portions are huge, leaving with full bellies and extras! The city needs to come support this place, no reason we have found in our experience tonight why it’s not packed!
My husband and I went to El Molcajete today after church. Despite the restaurant being extremely full, we were still seated quickly and a server was with us also quickly. The salsa was great and the chips were fresh and hot. It was a great experience overall. Our food came out sizzling (literally) and there were no mistakes. Very good service and food. Great place!
