Southern Hibachi Express is great for a food truck. I ordered a couple of their steak and rice hibachi meals, which comes with steak, rice, some vegetables, and yum yum sauce. The containers are absolutely packed to the brim and fit for a king. Extremely delicious and a good price for ~$15/meal. They have IoT-based order pagers they give you. They're very lightweight and small, and when your order is ready, it will vibrate and make noise. It's as easy as ordering, paying, and waiting in your car or at one of their two picnic tables under umbrellas. The establishment itself can be a little unattractive, but they also have beautiful views behind the food truck that you can gaze at while waiting for your order.

Food was bland, and if you order with veggies, you get more zucchini than anything. If you leave it off, then it's pile on the carrots , then a little onion the last but only a few spriggs of broccoli. Very uneven proportions, mainly I got the chicken and it was very dry, bland, and the sauce was so watery it had no flavor, the rice was um okay I guess.

I get steak med rare. Always cooked properly. Like the zucchini and squash medley. Always consistent and flavorful. A Clinton must try.

The food is always delicious. They give generous portions, as well.

Southern Hibachi in Clinton has delicious food. The people that work there are always nice. If you want to change something or add something, they're always helpful. It's probably my favorite place to eat at in Clinton.

We discovered this little gem 4 years ago. We are back because of great food and some of the best egg rolls I’ve ever had!!
