You need to try it at least once. Gumbo is so delicious ?. I tried the Tacos 1 blackened gator, fish, and shrimp ? ?. It was very very good so get in your car,truck,motorcycle and get your belly full of great food. I'm going back for sure.
This was our first time trying Almost Famous. We was super impressed. My husband had the Cajun Ribeye and I had crawfish. Both of us was very impressed. Steak cook perfectly and crawfish almost perfect!!
We got lucky in the first time we went it was the first day of crawfish season. It was very busy but service was quick. We tried a few different things we had never had before. Unfortunately my crawfish pie was still cold on the inside. It needed another 3045 seconds in the deep fryer. As a professional crawfish connoisseur I would have preferred a little bit more flavor and not just seasoning. Tasted like they were just boiked in water. No oil or nothing. Will be back though. We enjoyed it and it was a great experience

Just ate here and everyone at our table got something different and we all enjoyed it! We split some boudin balls and the flavor was great. I got the shrimp basket and got okra instead of hush puppies..delicious! We split the chocolate mousse cheesecake for dessert, very rich and perfect to share at the end of a good meal. Only thing making 4 star is we went with my grandfather and we didn't see a ramp entrance so we had to assist him in stepping up and down, there are a couple steps you must take to enter the restaurant.

The first time was the day we moved to Conway (Sept 30, 2023) and we got the Brisket Family meal and it was amazing, the sides were the best home made sides ever.. Today (Dec 22, 2023) I ordered a rack of Ribs and the Brisket family meal again.. The Ribs were the best we have ever had.. Melt in your mouth Ribs.. If you want great BBQ, these Folks know what they are doing.. We have lived in 7 different states and no ones BBQ Ribs or Brisket even comes close to Almost Famous Smokehouse & Grill in Conway, AR... In my book, these Folks are beyond Famous.. Thank you so much, and keep making amazing food..
Great southern atmosphere and charm, and the food is delicious too! Almost famous? More like, famous enough in these parts. I had their brisket ordered for Thanksgiving, and it is absolutely worth every cent. Everyone is in love with it, and I have no good words to describe how amazing the staff has been to get this prepared for me. Happy hour on the drinks is definitely worth coming for as well. I love all of the little knick knacks, but my favorite has got to be the wooden hogs.

Took a trip to Fort Worth Texas this week. Stopped at this place on way back home to Iowa. Highly recommend. The catfish, gator and shrimp tacos were excellent. Service was on point. If your in the area, stop in!
