Ordered bowl of gumbo and a boudin eggroll Togo, extremely disappointed. Very lacking in flavor over all, doesn’t taste like there was a roux or any trinity present. Extra heavy on okra lacking meats. Broth was unflavorful and watery. Rice was cooked okay, not too soggy not too mushy. Nice environment, nice people food overall was lacking a lot of flavor. Boudin was good, nice and spicy.
The Boudain balls were ok but they were burnt on the outside. The baked potato salad was very good but I could get the exact thing in a larger container from the deli for less than what I paid for it. The waitress was polite enough but she was new and needed help with our large party because a number of our orders were incorrect. We didn't complain or make a fuss at the restaurant because we knew she needed help so we helped her split up the bill by coming to the counter...

Unfortunately the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. When seated outside you have to fight off bugs while trying to enjoy your food. And when seated inside even when it is 79 degrees outside they don’t have any AC.
