I’ve driven by this hidden gem hundreds or maybe thousands of times and didn’t even know what I was missing. This place is incredible! Somehow they have fried food that isn’t greasy—even my napkin didn’t collect any grease. The food doesn’t all taste the same—lots of flavor here. The sweet tea is to die for and OMG the desserts?!! It’s about a 45 minute drive for me now and WELL worth it. If ya go, take cash for sure. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, a friend of mine had a very negative experience with the owner, Sherry. She borrowed money from him with the promise of paying it back, but despite multiple reminders, she has not returned it. It's disappointing to have someone in a position of trust behave this way.
I believe integrity is important, especially in business, and this experience has left him feeling taken advantage of. I hope Sherry reconsiders her actions, but for now, I cannot recommend this restaurant given the owner's unethical behavior.

Catfish was seasoned well. Crawfish and boiled shrimp was very good. Register and buffet are too close together. People are friendly. Very congested when trying to pay bill. We will continue eating here.

Customers may forget what you said but they'll never forget how you made them feel. Great owner, staff, and atmosphere. The name say a lot “ Hidden” let’s get it known. Fish, Homemade Ranch Dressing, Peach cobbler, and a lot more to offer . 😎 I witness something truly amazing when customer tried to steal joy of the atmosphere the owner simply said get some more cause they pumping that food out. Also don’t forget to add some crab legs to your buffet

Everything was great! The owner handed out stuff animals to some children. We noticed he had donated food to a Church for the needy. We will definitely be back

Come on Hidden Valley! This was our 3rd trip because we had been so pleased. No taste catfish, fried okra and mac n cheese. Maybe two scoops of banana pudding left. That was the only dessert besides the usual ice cream.
