Food was great, service was even better. I didn’t catch our waitresses name, but she was an amazing and beautiful human. I’ve never been treated so kindly inside of a restaurant. She saw flustered parents trying to eat with a baby and toddler and grabbed my kiddos and took them around the restaurant while we ate in peace. You have no idea how much that meant to us. I have been several times since they have reopen. Fish is still good as I remember.. However, they are now charging to use your debit/credit card. The last time I was there, which was about sometimes last year, they was no charge to use my debit card. I believe they started this at the end of Feb 2023.. There was no sign on the door about this.. However there was a sign at the register. I did not noticed this till I was checking out. I guess all mom and pop restaurants are doing...read full review

Pier 27 is a hidden gem with very good food and excellent fish and shrimp dishes. Entrees are priced around $15, and meals come with complimentary gumbo, beans, and hush puppies. The staff is friendly and provides great service, even taking pictures for special occasions. Customers typically spend about $20 per person and leave full and happy. The catfish is a standout dish that is still great and worth the wait, making Pier 27 a hit for returning customers.
