Shrimp appetizer is a great start for the table. Taylor Strip is an amazing cut. The duck appetizer is also a fan favorite.

The establishment is very unpretentious....it looks like a trailer of sorts when you pull up... inside it has a cafesque atmosphere. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. It is also a family friendly environment. We ordered appetizers as follows:1. Cheese dip with chips...while a runny, it was quite good--I prefer a thicker dip.?‍♂️2. Mama Jamma Shrimp...it was okay... arrived cold...?‍♂️Nice salad...the bread was devine...soft, fluffy, delectable, with two different variations on butter. For the main course we ordered the dry aged bone-in ribeye. While it was delicious...it was a bit too much on the fatty side? The flavor however was very good because of the dry aging process. For dessert I chose the Decadent Chocolate Bread Pudding...it was almost as good as the better than sex chocolate cake I've has elsewhere...?Final caveat....beware ....if you don't use cash but use a credit or debit card...they pass the fees on to you...oh, and I forgot to ask for the military discount...so not sure if they offer one...

I decided I was hungry in this tiny town. Taylor’s is a little out of the way but so worth it. The bread was hot and delicious. The filet was very tender and very tasty. The fries were home cut and very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely go back.

The steaks are always deliciously crafted and cooked to perfection. Next time I will build up the courage to ask for the rice pilaf recipe...omggg!! All the food is fabulous.

This was a great dining experience. It’s all extremely well prepared and the service is top notch. If you like your steak anywhere above medium I recommend a different restaurant. Their beef is outstanding. But stay for dessert. The bread pudding is phenomenal and needs no introduction. It’s definitely off the beaten path in rural southeastern Arkansas delta country but the trip is well worth it. Reservations recommended.

Bottom line up front: Quite possibly the best steak I have ever eaten! A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.We read about Taylor’s Steakhouse and decided to make the trip down to Dumas. It was 100 miles one way in the rain. It was absolutely worth every mile and every rain drop!!! Make a reservation is the best advice I was given beforehand. Even though they are only open Thursday through Saturday nights the phone is answered outside business hours (be reasonable with your expectations). The menu is pretty extensive as long as you are a meat eater but why would a vegan/ vegetarian go to a restaurant with “Steakhouse “ in the name? They have dry and wet aged selections of steaks, pork chops and several seafood options. I had the bone in ribeye which is dry aged and my wife chose the bone out ribeye that is wet aged and we shared to get a sample of each. Both were wonderful but I preferred the dry aged. We decided to get an appetizer and chose the grilled duck breast. It is the most expensive appetizer but well worth it. I firmly believe that it was the best appetizer I have ever had. They even have a good selection of beer and wine.Parking: The parking lot is a little small and fills up at peak hours.

The steaks are beyond fantastic! Also the blackened shrimp was excellent! The sides were not of the same quality though-baked potato was cold and small, salad was from a bag it seemed.Would definitely recommend for the meat!!!

We travel from Hot Springs to Mississippi every few months to see family. There is absolutely,in my opinion, no place to eat on the way. Fast food is basically what we have seen. I just happened to ask Trip Advisor for places to eat around me when we were close to Dumas and this place showed up. We opted to go there and I had One of the best steaks I have ever had. They are a little pricey because of the quality of their beef. If you want a great steak, this is the place to go if you are in this area. We had two fillets and they were melt in your mouth great. The staff was very friendly and kind. We will go back. (Soon I hope!)

Hidden gem. Love the decor and OMG the steaks are so good along with everything they serve. Wished we were closer , I'd be there a lot more.
