“Ok, guys, today I'm taking you to a little seafood restaurant nestled right on the bank of the Arkansas River at the Pendleton Bridge in Southeast Arkansas. My daughter's best friend had her 17th birthday today, and we decided to surprise her with a cake and eat dinner here. It's a great spot to have seafood or just a burger and fries. Appetizers are great, too, as I had my favorite, as usual, the deep-fried pickles. My dinner was fried butterfly shrimp and fries with side salad. My daughter had Chicken Alfredo. There is a bar here also, so if you'd like a cold one, they have that too. Great atmosphere where you can sit and eat great food and watch the barges and fishermen go by or just enjoy watching the wildlife and the river. There is a side porch that is screened for the warmer time of the year where you can sit and enjoy the nice weather while you eat. I really enjoyed tonight and will definitely be back again. Staff are friendly, and service is swift. The restaurant is very clean and family friendly. If you find yourself passing through here, stop by and see for yourself.”
“Did a day trip from Nashville to Canton on business and stopped in for lunch. Whole wings, ribs, and sides were excellent. Above average service and hospitality than we would ever have expected. Will be back whenever we’re in town.”
“Got the cheese burger with fries. Absolutely delicious, will be back. Strongly recommend eating here. Best burger food truck I've ever had! Very friendly people and quick service!!!!!”
“This was a great hamburger! They don’t have signs out so if your not careful you’ll drive right past it. An we both had jumbo cheese an one order of fries an under 14 bucks !”
“We were passing thru Dumas in time for dinner. We had catfish, baked beans, potato salad, slaw, hushpuppies and a drink. (Pickle and onion on the side.)The owners were so nice. The place was spotless. I wish we lived closer. ?Parking: No problems.”
“This Donut Palace has very nice friendly people. The donuts are good if you like to eat white flour and too much sugar. But what else do you expect when you go to a donut shop? There are several different kinds of pig in a blanket. Try the boudain. They are also serving plate breakfast now.”
“Without a doubt this is the best place to come with your family, good food, good prices but without a doubt the taste is the best 10/10Vegetarian options: There is a small variety of vegetarian but delicious dishes, from vegetable quesadillas to enchiladas and ending with salads.Kid-friendliness: You have a special menu for children with burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas or if you prefer, tacos too.”
“Great place to come relax and enjoy yourself a great meal. I passed the place a couple of times and finally went to check out what all the talk around town was about, and I was not disappointed at all!”
“Nothing like wintertime catfishing. Water was a high today. Due to all the rain we've had lately. But other than that. A day on the water is better than a day watching tv.”
“I've been here a few times and every time the food is great! Truly Mexican food. I like that they have a fixed menu and a daily menu. The people are very nice and always smile at you. They have a section with Mexican products, paletas, and icecream.”
“Excellent fresh made to order Chinese food! Great friendly service. Awesome gee gee beef, egg rolls, pepper steak, moo-goo-gai pan, fried rice. Never had a bad meal here and been eating this families food for about 50 years. They have Kowloons Restaurant in Lake Village (take out only now) but, both are the best Chinese food I've eaten anywhere in the world and I've traveled over 30 countries and I always say these two are the absolute best Cantonese style Chinese food ever!”
“Pine bluff big banjo is better in my opinion. More meat and cheese here but too much tomato sauce and the crust isn't quite as good. Over all pretty darn good though.”
“No complaints from my wife and I. Stopped here on our way home from a trip to MS. She had eaten here many years ago, but this was my first time. Ate here on a early Wednesday afternoon. The place was not very busy, having arrived after the lunch rush. Service was very timely, and courteous. I had the Enchiladas Verdes, with cheese and spinach enchiladas, and refried beans and rice. My wife had the Poblana Pepper meal, with the refried beans and rice. We both were completely satisfied with our meals, and commented to each other about how the flavor was better than what we're accustomed to. We both had water to drink. The customary chips and salsa we had, before our meals, were very good too. Chips were crispy and warm, and the salsa tasty. Will definitely keep El Toro in mind, when we're in the area.”
“Don’t pull up the phone lol I got the money back to you so I can put the money on the money I got money back lol ha lol oh wow lol lol oh ok lol lol I don’t have money to get lol lol ha lol oh wow lol oh that’s cool what do you say oh my dad don’t get me lol oh wow wow lol ha lol oh wow lol oh that’s cool what do you want to do is”
“This is a great place to eat! They have many options and recently added fried filet fish to the menu and it is delicious; if you can't make your mind up then get the buffet and eat to your heart's content!!”
“This is a hidden gem in Dumas, Arkansas. Well, I guess it's not hidden because it's on the main highway, but it is a gem. Their queso blanco is amazing. I ate it and as I got full I ended up eating it with a spoon. I got two tacos - al pastor and a carnita on corn. They were so yummy. Anyway, come out and try this. It's so good.”
“Literally the best sonic I've ever been to!! We are out of towners just passing through and stopped here for lunch. We were not disappointed!! The food and service set the standard for what sonic should strive for”
“They had already "broke down" the Frappuccino machine so I could not use my reward for free Frappuccino. The employees can not tell you what is in a mocha vs latte "I push a button & the machine does it" 2 different employee's said this to me. Another made the comment she was not doing any curbside deliveries "in this cold" its the south & I realize they aren't used to snow flurries or ice but come on, do all the McDonald's north of the Mason Dixon line close for snow flurries. It wasn't even below 32° so it wasn't freezing. They all just wanted to go home & I understand. The rest of us do too, but I need some caffeine to make that drive & I have tons of reward points to use. Nurses don't get to go home because its cold outside. Neither do our police, military, firemen, tow truck drivers, gas station clerks, EMTS, 1st responders, other Healthcare workers, some daycares, etc. My daughter works at Whataburger up north & walked to work in the snow because she likes her car too much to drive it in the snow & ice & realizes she isn't experienced enough to do so safely. But she does not miss work (they are open 24hrs & the only fast food restaurant in the whole county that is) because she likes her car & has to pay her insurance & gas. Sure glad those workers on the line in Detroit don't stay home for a few snow flurries so we have these nice cars to drive!Kid-friendliness: There were more kids than I could count & they were having the best time! Out of school for Christmas break & probably stuck in the house all day due to wind chills below zero, told that momma she had the right idea, they'll be worn out & sleep good. The kids were a little loud, like all kids, they had great manners & no one tried to hush them or chastise them, except their mother lol. McDonald's is where kids wana go & the staff was excellent towards them, very kind to their mother too. Those kids will probably remember that time they got to go to McDonald's in the snow after being shut in the house all day. One of them dropped something out of her little purse & when I asked it that was hers she smiled so sweet & yes ma'am thank you with her head down. I told her to look up, not down honey, you have a beautiful smile, she giggled & went on. My son passed away recently & going to McDonald's & seeing happy children does my heart good. This is my 1st Christmas without him. When I asked their mom how many I could load up she said ALL OF EM! if they would have fit in my little mustang I would have done it. I was her one time too. I had 11. Some of them aren't on this earth anymore & the rest are grown, busy, independent or all 3. I stayed at more than one Ronald McDonald home thru the years. God bless those folks.”
“Delicious! This is what soul food should be. The chicken and dressing were savory and rich, the fried okra was crispy and flavorful... whatever magic Ms. Beverly is doing with her food, keep it up!”
“This is a very cool old country store and restaurant. The pie was wonderful and they also sell frozen beef from a local farm, it was very good.Thank you for the treat!”
“The establishment is very unpretentious....it looks like a trailer of sorts when you pull up... inside it has a cafesque atmosphere. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. It is also a family friendly environment. We ordered appetizers as follows:1. Cheese dip with chips...while a runny, it was quite good--I prefer a thicker dip.?♂️2. Mama Jamma Shrimp...it was okay... arrived cold...?♂️Nice salad...the bread was devine...soft, fluffy, delectable, with two different variations on butter. For the main course we ordered the dry aged bone-in ribeye. While it was delicious...it was a bit too much on the fatty side? The flavor however was very good because of the dry aging process. For dessert I chose the Decadent Chocolate Bread Pudding...it was almost as good as the better than sex chocolate cake I've has elsewhere...?Final caveat....beware ....if you don't use cash but use a credit or debit card...they pass the fees on to you...oh, and I forgot to ask for the military discount...so not sure if they offer one...”
