We had not made it back to Eureka Springs for a couple of years when we returned last month to find that Cottage Inn is no longer open for regular dinner service. This place was highly recommended by locals and was our favorite spot for a low key yet upscale fine dining experience in Eureka Springs. Luckily it appears that they still host periodic multi-course wine dinners by reservation only so we may still be able to get our fix if we plan our next Eureka excursion accordingly....read full review

We had a lovely dinner last evening at the Cottage Inn. The restaurant is beside small cottages for rent. Once you step inside, you feel like you are in a small family run bistro in a tiny town in France. They don't take reservations but the waiter pops out periodically to update you on the wait -- in our case, 15 minutes. The small but thoughtful menu offers many choices. We stayed in Eureka Springs for a week, ate every meal out, and this was by far our best experience. Wish we had found this place sooner, but we were there the last 2 nights of our trip. The chef is very talented. Our group had fish, steaks, pork, and all were excellent. The desserts are all homemade by the chef and very enjoyable. The atmosphere and service were also excellent.
