A place filled with charm and character. Lots of menu options and portions are quite filling. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. There is a bar area, two private booths with a curtains and television for couples or party of four. There’s also games (uno,dominos)at your table to keep yourself entertained and plenty of condiments to choose from.
Too dark to see menu or food. Server was eager to take our order. I should have taken longer to decide, do it wasn’t his fault. The shepherd’s pie was a generous serving, but server had to place food on a big plate so that I could see to eat. Husband ordered white wine salmon. Fish didn’t taste pr smell fresh. A side of asparagus consisted of 3 below average-tasting spears. Cheese grits were absolutely the best part of the meal. Service was really good. ...
It was a good meal. The timing was off. Wife had the Red snapper. She loved it. I ordered the Ruben. As you can see from the picture it was dried out from sitting under a heat lamp. It was like the Ruben was done for about 20 to 25 minutes before my wife's dish. It took about an hour for the food to come out. My side was onion rings and I didn't care for them.
