The food is fried and a little greasy, but not overly so. For those with gluten sensitivities, it may not be the best choice. The combo meal with shrimp and fish includes hush puppies, fries, homemade chips, fried shrimp, fried cod, and fried pickles. The tartar sauce is delicious and hand-made. While the menu currently focuses on fried options, the restaurant is looking to add grilled or non-breaded options in the future. Parking is very limited, with only one spot available. Overall, Blackbeard’s Fish and Chips offers good food and friendly service in a cute, to-go building reminiscent of a tiny house.
