This place was mid at best. The price is high and the food is bland. The brisket sandwich was ok, but that's about the bright side. The service was good. Both interactions were nice and friendly.

Perhaps the worst BBQ I’ve had in my life … dry, bland and clearly been sitting out for an untold amount of time. Beyond that the “seasoning” or dry rub put on everything, including the pork rinds was incredibly salty making even the mac & cheese inedible. The service and space cannot make up for the food. Just drive a bit more and go to Penguin Ed’s. We stopped in on a whim to make to the baseball game and wondered why it was empty. Now we know.Shocked that the Memphis restaurant doesn’t have better QC over this location.

I ordered pulled pork with 2 sides and a soda to go. Large portion of pork was delicious! Large portion of coleslaw but it was flavorless. Onion rings were delicious! Bun not toasted, not even warm. The employees were very kind and attentive to my wants! Silverware, napkins and both mild and hot BBQ Sauce were included.

We came to try this place out, we got, Ribs, pull pork, sausage & brisket, with a side of beans, potatoes salad & man&ch , all the meats were very dry, we are very disappointed!! ? the sides were just ok, but nothing over the top !Service was great though!
Very solid food. Texas bbq blows this out of the water but it's not bad. You could say it's pretty CENTRAL when it comes to bbq.

I’m originally from Memphis TN so when I saw Central BBQ I got excited. Ordered $40 worth of food only to throw it away. The brisket was so dry the sauce didn’t help. So was the pulled pork. The wings were overcooked and onion rings were oily. This has to be the worst bbq I’ve ever tasted in life. I was so disappointed that I didn’t even want a refund. This place shouldn’t be open. It’s terrible. And the cashier lied about napkins being in the bag. Staff pure lazy. This is so pathetic.
