Service great, nice and clean place, pizza tasted great but crust was well charred in places. I don't normally eat wood fired pizza but I'm told that a charred pizza is common in wood fired ovens....The pizza all the way to the crust was very good. Lemonade was tasty if a bit on the weak side. Probably the minute maid stuff that was close to needing a bottle change in the dispenser. Wood Stone Pizza - Mill District offers a mixed experience. The food is delicious, with awesome 8”-9”? pizzas and lots of variations. The Korean bbq wings w ranch dressing are some of the best wings ever, and the mac-n-cheese is a house favorite, with garlic-parm breadsticks that are top notch. The service can be friendly and helpful, with immaculate service noted. The ambience is great, with greenery and house plants everywhere, providing a laid back vibe. However, some found it pretty pricey for what it is, with food and beer on the high side. One visit saw the kitchen lose half a ticket, causing pizza to come before salad and apps. A party member got very sick, possibly from the beet salad. Despite this, others have always had a great experience, including gluten free and dairy free options. Overall, it is a great place for pizza and wings, with some noting they probably will not go back.
