This place is a jewel on Emma Ave. delicious food & drink. Great atmosphere and the staff are delightful.
We tried the habenero enchiladas and the mole enchiladas. Both very good. Servings are smaller than some other mexican restaurants but still plenty. You will not leave hungry. This is not tex mex but still very good. Lots of vegetarian options and their refried beans do not contain pork, so should be alpha gal safe.
They have a reasonably priced lunch menu with many tasty items. Margarita was very good. Will definitely be back
I'll be back because of good reviews. I'm not a fan of their salsa. But it's good to have something different.
Enchiladas very good but smaller than others.
I do like their rice better than other places and beans small servings. Guac salad is a tablespoon or so of guac.
I got an enchilada meal and 2 tacos to go. About under $30 with a drink.
Will be back to try many things. This will be a regular I believe.
Perfect little Cali-style Mexican joint! Great tacos, and the Frida Khalo images in the wall made me happy. 10/10 will return.
The food was served hot and just perfect! And everything was well put together. I ordered a Burrito with rice and beans—it taste fresh. I will be coming back!!!!!
Excellent food! We ordered the Nachos Supreme, Spinach Enchiladas, and Chile Relleno. The food had great flavor, wasn't too heavy and the owner was very kind and took great care of us. He shared some of his favorite habanero sauce and it was great too! Highly recommended.
Lovely little spot on Wedington! We had the enchiladas, the carne asade, and of course chips and salsa and it was perfect. We will definitely be back ◡̈
Excellent lunch today.
This is literally the best restaurant in town. I never write reviews but the world needs to know. We eat here all the time and it never disappoints

The waitress was super nice, I believe she was the daughter of the owners. I have 2 major complaints.
The food wasn’t impressive at all. I got the chipotle chicken and my dish came out with a small serving of beans, rice and the skinniest chicken breast I’ve ever seen, covered in sauce for 14.99 this was a total ripoff. Not to mention the 45 minute wait for a depressing plate.
This salsa tastes like watery marinara sauce and is horrendous, owner please fix your recipe…
My total meal alone was over 30 dollars for a thin chicken breast and chips and salsa with queso added. Their receipt didn’t even break down the pricing per item just the total this needs to be changed as well. Owners, You need to be transparent about why and what you are charging for.

Tried this restaurant for the first time and the food was delicious! Had the habanero enchiladas and they were even better than hoped. Fresh ingredients and perfect seasonings. This will be a new must on my go to dining choices. The staff was very friendly and helpful with menu selections. Very clean tasting food.
