This owner is very rude and unprofessional! I ordered two dinner entrees that were the size of a child’s plate and on the menu it prompted the choice of two different types of beans. I got no beans at all with the meager meal that had the smallest amount of chicken.. basically rice and cheese for $20. When I called the owner said the only thing he will do is give me the side of beans tomorrow? Horrible customer service and BLAND tiny portions. Listen to all the other negative reviews. Don’t go here.
The owner of this place is a cheapskate. There is a reason this restaurant is always EMPTY. Overpriced food that don’t match the food portion you are paying for. And he is RUDE and unapologetic as heck. Just look at the way he responds to reviews he don’t like on here. He clearly doesn’t mind losing customers from his already empty restaurant. Bad customer service and a cheapskate. First experience dining in wasn’t good. Not much food and prices were high. Restaurant was completely empty around lunch time. Months later, out of distance convenance I decided to give this place a second chance with a to go order. BIG Mistake!!! I ordered a small cheese dip $5.66 and a torta with fries included $10.99. Total amount $20.69 ….. as soon as I opened my food it was so disappointing to see what I got. The already small sized cheese dip was only half way full. A measly handful of fries. You could count them (I’m attaching pictures!!)Everyone knows the difference between small and large size cheese dip. Not here. Apparently the owner makes his own rules. He measures the cheese dip by ounces, he told me. It doesn’t matter the container size, HE SAID. He told me if I didn’t like how he serves food, portion wise, go somewhere else. Are you kidding me? Do yourself a favor and do go somewhere else too ??

I ordered the carne asada from here and lemme tell yall, it wes very, VERY good. I have had this plate at so many other places in NWA but this place does it like no other. Keep in mind, i come from a Mexican family who makes this dish almost every family gathering.I genuinely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants authentic Mexican. 6/5 stars if I could

I go to this restaurant every single Thursday to eat the most immaculate Mexican food in NWA. The food here is full of flavor and the portions are perfect. The service is amazing and their servers are so kind. The owner is a pretty cool guy he comes out to talk to me when I visit. It’s a small family owned business that does an amazing job. Don’t listen to the negative commenters they are a bunch of Karen’s that have nothing better to do than whine. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend this place.
I heard about this restaurant a few months ago and finally stopped in tonight. I highly recommend Frida’s and plan to come back and eat here again and again.We ordered the stuffed jalapeños to share, and tried the habanero enchiladas, hog quesadilla, and the Steven special (which was 7.99, cheaper than any other Steven special in Fayetteville). Everything was delicious, down to the guacamole salad and the spicy salsa.

This is one of those restaurants that is a hole in the wall but is extremely delicious. The service and food were amazing. If you like hot things try the Serrano sauce. I'll for sure be returning as the tacos were spot on of what I wanted to eat today!
