I’m so sick of this specific location’s incompetence. If they aren’t slow they get the order wrong. I thought the point of making this location a “fly thru” was to making it quick and more efficient for the customer? It’s anything but that. It is the slowest slims drive thru I’ve been to, and no offense but the people working there haven’t seemed to have a clue about that they’re doing. It’s mostly a bunch of kids. I understand wrong orders happen but it’s to the point I can’t leave the drive thru without fully checking…. Slow, inefficient, constant wrong orders… they should have never changed this location..

I was disappointed with my last visit to Slim Chicken’s flagship location in Fayetteville. The food from any Slim’s is usually fine, and my 10-piece tender bite meal great. Unfortunately, my wife’s Slim’s Salad had wilted lettuce, and she did not receive her salad dressing. However, this salad mishap isn’t the reason for this one star. Slim’s Chicken has missed the mark on providing a seamless and efficient digital experience. This organization either willfully decided not to do their due diligence to understand what consumers want that will provide them with a positive mobile experience, or they were too arrogant to mimic or use successful competitors systems as a blueprint. Either way, their meager attempts to provide a ‘digital’ experience have failed. The first issue I have is that when you pull into the drive before seeing the dual lanes, the app and signage outside states to use the 2nd lane for mobile orders. While that may be obvious to some, nowhere does the signage say ‘2nd Lane’. Instead, the outside lane further ahead(after you naturally would have picked the correct lane) states something like ‘online orders and drive through orders’. Nothing about a 2nd lane. To encourage your clients to use an app, you need to reward them with a faster and more efficient experience. When we pulled up, several other cars ahead were ordering at the drive through in the ‘mobile lane’. Why limit mobile orders to one lane when non-mobile users can use it as a traditional drive through? One would think that the purpose of a lane for mobile orders would be for Slim’s to easily distinguish who has a mobile order, to provide a quick and easy delivery of food(what consumers really want), and to improve throughput. When we arrived at the speaker post, the person asked a good name for an order rather than asking if we were using a mobile order(visit a McDonalds to see how this is done). After I provided the name for the order and pulled around, two different folks walked up to me asking the name for my order(visit a Chickfila to learn how to optimize employee efficiency). We kept pulling forward as folks ahead of us who ordered at the drive through received their food and left. We eventually received our drinks before moving up to the very front of the line. In total, we were probably in the drive through 10 minutes before receiving our food even though we ordered through the app about five minutes before arriving. Let this be my vow that I will never visit a Slims Chicken again. The sad part is, the employees were very kind and attentive, yet they were put into a system that fails the customer.

Due to a misunderstanding at the window, received my food not quite right. The gentleman who took my order asked clarifying questions after handing me the food where we discovered the incorrect items. He immidiately took action and provided a workable solution to the problem and we both took 30 seconds apologizing to each other for the misunderstanding. Not for the fact that they fixed the order but more for the kindness, attention, and effort the gentleman put into solving the situation, I will be returning to this location

I generally enjoy Slim Chickens. They can be inconsistent with okra and fried mushrooms, but still pretty good. BUT I ordered potato salad for the first time: awful, inedible. I don’t blame the local employees. Slim’s has to come up with something much better!

You know it's so funny. This used to be such a Fayetteville staple, Nice patio a place to sit and have lunch. Now it's the fly through... more like the crawl through. After getting my order wrong three times in a row literally I decided to call supposedly my name was put on a list to receive a free meal and I forgot for a while because I frankly I didn't care but I thought of it one day about four weeks later, and I was basically humiliated whilst looking through my phone to find proof of my purchase, despite having called.
Honestly, I think they just need to tear this down and make a public apology and put the restaurant back....

This place is so inconsistent. The slims sauce tastes different every time. Sometimes fries are seasoned, sometimes they aren’t. Often you get a larger portion of fries in a kids meal than a slims plate. Sometimes your chicken strips are the size of an actual chicken strip, most of the time they aren’t and are tiny. We haven’t had good experiences since the new one opened up. Most recent visit we were shorted a chicken strip (second time this has happened) in the slims meal, given the wrong sauce and the chicks meal had THE tiniest excuse for a chicken strip I’ve ever seen.
I've been going to this slims since they opened up in 2003. It use to be a place where you could get a decent meal that didn't break the bank and filled you up. Since y'all have gone full on corporate greed with your shrink flation I've gone from recommending eating at slims to everyone to telling everyone to stay away. Raising your prices is understandable since it's based on the price of food, BUT whenever you make the portions smaller every single year it's absolutely ridiculous. I ordered a slims plate with okra tonight and one of the tenders was the size of 2 pieces of okras and another was maybe twice that size. Ive managed restaurants for many years and if we were putting out this kind of inferior product and not able to hold the standards your business was founded on then we used to my boss would fire me, but my issue is this is the standard. Everytime I give y'all another chance because I love your food I'm disappointed all over again. I have a feeling that why this is one of the few restaurants that doesn't allow you to post a picture. Until, y'all change how you're conducting business and putting profits over quality I'll continue to scream at the roof tops for people to stop going. Fayetteville has always supported and been proud slims as it was your first location. Now everyone i talk to ab y'all all have the same thing to say, we miss the old slims. Raise your prices but stop lowering your portions.

Slims is the best chicken around however this is the worse location I have ever been to. I’ve tried this location a few times now and they have proven to me it is not worth going to this location. The chicken and fries are ALWAYS old and cold, and the service is awful. Older shorter lady is always rude and never polite. Not sure of her name but just always gives the worse service. Again, this is not a rating for slim chicken, but this location is just never good.

It was way faster before the remodel. We waited so long my kid fell asleep and was able to get a 15 minute nap in addition to the wait we had before. My food was cold after saying it would be fresh from how long our wait was. If I wasn’t so tired I would’ve asked for a refund. Then proceeded to add two brownies as if that will help wasting half an hour there. Don’t waste your time here.

It's drive thru. So no public bathrooms, no parking,
My kiddo is autistic so only eats particular foods. We ordered the slims meal. So they like the crispy chicken strips got home and it had a bunch of wings, which they do not eat and no fries!!!! Oh 1 single French fry was in there.
Wait time was a bit long too. I meant to tell my kid to check their bag before we left. 20 minutes later at home saw it was not the right order. No one here will eat wings. Unhappy campers here.
I don't see a receipt either. Will not be back.

I truly pray for everyone else that slims never makes another one of these fly thrus because this is an absolute joke! Waiting in a line for 30 minutes. Orders are never correct. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!
Ohhh and on top of the wait our food was room temperature.
Slim chicken is famous for getting your order wrong. They may have remodeled this location but they haven't improved this aspect of Slims.
