Great country style food, especially excellent seasoned fries. The service is great and they are quick to refill your cup. Don't let looks fool you, this is an excellent place to eat.Kid-friendliness: You can expect southern hospitality. Children are respected as much as adults.
First time in Arkansas, arrived in Foreman AR., to pay respects to my great grandparents and decided to eat at The Wooden Spoon, met the owners Jeb & Mrs. Smith which happen to be some of kindest people you want to meet, the staff were just as friendly and professional. Their hospitality made me feel like I knew them already! The fried green tomatoes were the best I ever ate, lightly battered and perfectly cooked, nothing scorched or greasy. Down home cooking like my grandma made. If you are in the area and they are open it's well worth the stop. And as with any small southern town most everyone is friendly like they have known you for years.Country fried steak was the best.
