My family and I will always support this wonderful place. We have been coming here off and on for nearly 20yrs, and in all of those years ive never once had bad food. They treat you like family, their service is impeccable, their food is always cooked thoroughly and seasoned perfectly, and the atmosphere is full of regulars and newcomers alike. I will forever be grateful to the owner and his family for blessing our corner of Arkansas with great food and even better friendship.

(Favorite Dishes: Don Jose Burrito, Chicken or Beef tacos, Chicken Chimichanga, Chicken and Rice, and lastly their Enchiladas with red sauce and cheese sauce. LASTLY YOU HAVE TO TRY THEIR SALSA VERDE!)
Their Sodas are great and their Cheese Dip is the best around!

Never again. First of all. They had the same person who was cleaning the tables serving food. Yes. I saw her lay down the dirty rag and serve plates without washing her hands. Cheese dip was like water. Food was cold,horrible. Just gross🤮

I have to be honest. If you're from Texas and used to good Mexican food, you will be very disappointed in this restaurant as I was. The white queso was AMAZING. However that was the only thing. Rice and beans were bland. The salsa tasted like there was basil and oregano in it. The enchilada sauce didn't really taste like enchilada sauce. The service was great, no complaints.

We’re told we had chosen one of the favorites for the area…let me tell you it was a delicious treat to go into this restaurant to eat. Our waitress Dana was the bomb! Our drinks were outstanding and just right. The food was great the guacamole was good could use a little lime on it! Hubs had burrito and two soft tacos. I had the 3 enchiladas covered with cheese sauce. Got Flan to go it was probably one of the best flans I have ever eaten. It was creamy and oh so smooth…will upload their menu that we took photos of June 30, 2025. Hope you get waitress Dana, because she will make your day! So glad we listened to our hotel and traveled down the road!

Passing through stopped for the night at a local hotel decided to try Don Jose it is attached to days inn the food was really good slightly different from back home in SC the salsa was ok wayyyy different almost no flavor at all now the service went from good to poor after we got our food nobody stopped by and asked how was the food and absolutely no drink refills wife wanted another beer but didn’t get any my tea ran out waitress came back once we were done eating with our ticket

Excellent Mexican cuisine!! We are just passing through, and read other reviews, so we gave it a try. Everything was wonderful. Especially the Mocajete - yummy. The queso was very good, but I recommend getting it without ground beef. The salsa was very good also. The margaritas are good, but be sure to stir them well - they don't skimp on the tequila. This place is a diamond in the rough.
