“This place! I give it five stars on EVERYTHING. Delicious coffee and the brownie was absolutely fabulous. And the kindness and warm welcome was just wonderful. We could not have asked for anything more. What a happy, cozy place to be! We felt so taken care of and cannot wait to return. It is such a lovely spot to stop. Definitely worth the few minutes to leave I-40. This place feels like a hug. Thank you for making our family’s Monday morning so joyful!”

“Highly recommend this place! The food is outstanding my wife and I got salads and we’re trying to eat healthy but we saw the steaks and burgers coming out and immediately regretted our decision. But the salads were great and the dressings we got were house made. Had a small issue with an order, but it was made right immediately. It’s worth the short drive off the interstate.”

“This food is so good that you can become addicted. I found myself eating there two days in a row and two days in a row i bought the same thing as the Pulled pork plate. Personally I would not go anywhere else to get a real smoke house Barbecue Plate. This guy Mr Golden Brown and his entire staff stands my 100% approval. “Excellent food. I had the lunch poblano, although im not a vegetarian, it was an exception choice. Rice, bean, and salad with guacamole was just too much to eat. I put my remaining poblano and cheese on my husband's already steak filled burrito up a notch.The beer was cold and mug was frosty”

“Had a pork sandwich and fries and was quite pleased. Pork was tender and the fries were crispy outside and tender inside. Sweet tea as good as you can get in Texas. The girl that waited on us was so nice and helpful You know a place is good when the local police eat there! I will definitely be back on my next trip thru Forest City.”

“Nice atmosphere. Surprisingly so, considering it shares an entrance with a motel. I cannot dispute claims of "authentic" Mexican food, but the fajitas came sizzling to the table with plenty of meat and a tasty mix of grilled vegetables.”

“I tell you what. I stopped by to get some food as I was headed out of town and glad I did. This is some great stuff and the owners are awesome. They don't have dine in at this location but the new one will. So drive up and order or in my case ride up and sit on the curb and enjoy some really good food. All that food was under 10 bucks and it came with a drink. Cycling fuel!”
