A little pricey for just a pulled pork sandwich or a burger. But also delicious BBQ.

I wouldn't stop here judging from the outside. Looks like a run down hole in the wall, but the hotel I was at recommended it. The food here is great. Very good barbecue and my buddies said the catfish is good as well. I would definitely stop back

Let’s start with the service. I placed an order over the phone and I pulled in to their drive thru to retrieve it about 10 minutes later. The boy over the phone told me it would be 5-6 minutes. The lady who was at the front wore a green shirt asked me if I had an order. I gave her the name and she comes back and takes my card so I could pay. As I sat there I had been waiting longer and longer and longer. So after about 10 minutes, she comes back looking confused and asked if I had received my drink. I didn’t know it came with a drink so I told her no I did not. She closed the window went around for about 2 minutes and then come back and asked me WHAT I ORDERED. That totally confused me seeing as she had no problem taking my payment when I gave her the name for the order. When I told her what I ordered she looked down at the clip board in front of her and took a green slip of paper off of it and closed the window. After about 5 minutes I got my food and it was not what I expected. The fries tasted plain and soggy like how they are when they’ve been sitting. The grilled chicken on the sandwich had been flattened out so much that it was dry and almost impossible to chew! The bread was soggy and almost mush like. Overall 1/10. Do better !

This place reminds me of a 1950’s movie restaurant setting. It was old and smelly. The food was a hard 3/10 I ordered a mild bbq pulled pork sandwich with slaw. I was just visiting this area and I won’t be revisiting this place.

I rarely write reviews but I had to for this place! My partner and I are moving across the country and stopped in because the traffic into Memphis was going to significantly lengthen our drive.
I’m so glad we did! Right off the bat, the service was prompt and friendly. I wish I had gotten the girl who helped us’ name. She was amazing! Made lots of great recommendations.
Now for the food: we ordered the catfish and the combo plate (pulled pork and sausage). While both were amazing, the catfish had to be some of the best fried fish I’ve ever had. My partner and I have travelled all over Ireland and the UK and this tops their fish and chips tenfold. The catfish was perfectly flakey and moist and whatever they use as breading is perfect. Legit a 10/10 recipe.
We also had coleslaw, baked beans, and hush puppies. All of which were outstanding as well.
The only thing I’d change about this place is the fries, but I would travel back across the country for that catfish again.

TLDR: if you’re thinking of trekking into Memphis for fish and bbq, come here instead. You won’t regret it!

On our way across AR and stopped for lunch. We love visiting local BBQ restaurants and we're not disappointed. Nothing fancy, but nice folks, good food and I loved the signs and posters on the walls. Highly recommended!

Passing through the State of Arkansas, I experienced exceptional service and delightful aromas of barbecue. Although I was initially disappointed by the absence of brisket, the pork, sauce, hush puppies, and cole slaw exceeded my expectations. The fried coconut pie was the perfect conclusion to a memorable dining experience. If I were the proprietor, I would proudly proclaim it as the home of the fried coconut pie and barbecue.
