I've stopped by a few times during the posted hours of operation and they're always closed. Never been able to eat here. Wanted to leave this review but don't know anything about the place other than they're never open when I stop here, so I have a neutral rating of 3 stars.
The seafood boil was so good. My family and love to eat there.

This place is fabulous! Amazing food prepared exactly to our liking and delivered super fast. Artistic process in an open kitchen - this lady knows her stuff!! Scrumptious meal. If you haven’t tried it, you are missing something super special.

The crab balls were fantastic, dipping sauce amazing, and the potatoes and corn exquisite. The setup is an informal and quaint general store. I will definitely start planning my road trips to and from home (OK to AL) to correspond with the times she’s open so I can try other items on her menu.

A bit hard to find (it’s behind McDonalds) but well worth the effort. Small place but everything is prepared fresh and served with care.
We had a great experience in this quaint restaurant. The chef is AMAZING and knows her way around her friendly open kitchen. The food was scrumptious and the people so very kind. She made everything to our liking and fast! This is real seafood, prepared well.

A road trip lunch stop that we won’t forget! Don’t judge this book by its cover. Despite its hole-in-the-wall appearance, the food is absolutely top notch. Between the two of us we had the boudin ball/potato cake appetizer, frog legs, calamari, alligator, okra, and potatoes with corn. Everything was fresh and delicious and cooked right before our eyes by the owner. Forget the chain restaurants and stop here.
I would recommend checking price before ordering. Paid 46.95 for entree no drinks.
Parking: It is limited but adequate for size
Check the price before ordering. Paid 74.00 for lunch. Price didn't match menu food was subpar.. Stuff crab was burnt and dry was given can sodas.. Didn't have some of the menu items.. For the price could've went to a nice steakhouse. Only thing enjoyable was my lunch guest..
Driving through Forrest City at lunch time, my wife actually found this restaurant on an app we use called I Exit as it was so close to I-40 and then went on the TripAdvisor site to "check it out". Based on the Trip Advisor reviews, we made it our lunch destination. Let's sum this review up in one word - "WOW". No, it is not a very fancy restaurant but we were warmly greeted by Ms. D (owner and chef) who put incredible meals on our table at a reasonable price. We each started with an appetizer of a boudin ball and a fried potato. We knew we were in for a treat. They were both delicious. The fried potato was like a large tater tot but was very nicely spiced and had cheese in it. Then came our lunches- My wife ordered the fried shrimp basket with cole slaw and hush puppies and I ordered the fried alligator basket with fried okra and hushpuppies. We shared them both and were truly impressed. The fried alligator was so moist and tender, the fried okra was freshly made from scratch and the fried shrimp were jumbo butterflied shrimp fried to perfection. As I told Ms. D, the only problem I had with her restaurant was that it was a 365-mile drive for us to make a return trip. When driving on I-40 in the future, we will time our drive to have another meal there. Kudos Ms. D on a job so very well done!
The Best Seafood I have ever had by far. In fact I changed the owners name to,”The 1”! 🦀🦞🦐🐟 ❤️❤️❤️❤️!
