So please go here for the steaks, but not the sides! We went to Doe's in Fort Smith for the first time in 2009. My man complained about being served boiled potatoes with a high-dollar steak. So we finally decided to give it another try in September of 2024. They brought out these delicious steaks with boiled potatoes again! It was kind of comical. My son, who had never been to Doe's before, made the comment, "Well you can tell that their sides are just an afterthought...
Honestly one of the nicest places i’ve been to in ft.smith. Im glad I got to go here whenever I was a foreign exchange student, I got to say that they have the best piece of steak I had in my life (I’ve had meat from all places in the world) sercice was awesome and if I ever come back to the Oklahoma-Arkansas area I will come here again.
We found the food to be excellent. The two of us started with six tamales which were really good. Our server was Austin and he knows his stuff, very helpful. Many of the steaks sell by the pound and they have a two pound minimum. At $42 to $49 a pound these steaks would be at least $84 to $98 each. A bit pricey and we didn’t think we could eat two pounds so we both ended up ordering the six ounce filets. They were $40 each and much larger than expected. The two steaks...
