A big thank you to Joes Cantina for the dinner donated to the Ronald McDonalds House! It was great and much appreciated đ â¤ď¸

Itâs disappointing when a local restaurant weâve loved and supported starts to go downhill. Weâve always made an effort to stick with local spots not just because theyâre local, but because of the heart, service, and quality they offer. Sadly, one of our favorites has really changed lately, and not for the better.
The service isnât what it used to be, and the food just doesnât have the same care or flavor. We truly hope you can turn things around. Supporting local only works when quality and pride are still part of the experience.

we came in yesterday we was seated and we asked for the special that you always have in the waitress, tell us that you donât have it no more She said well Iâm gonna stand back here and wait and see if yâall gonna stay so we ordered on the menu at first they had my husbandâs wrong so they redone it. Our meal was no good. We had no refills on our drinks. we wonât be back. I always love coming there cause the food was always good and the waitress for us was always polite but this is my last time I wonât be back.

Did not like the overall experience. Food we had wasn't as good as other resturants.

I wanted to like this place. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was decent. It was cold as heck though with AC blazing and fans blowing down on us. We all huddled together to keep warm. The food was just bad. The chicken tasted like defrosted, precut frozen chicken from a package. The rice isnât Mexican rice, itâs ricearoni with too much tomato chunks. The beans were tasty. The chips broke apart before you could get them in your mouth. Way too thin. The salsa tasted like canned tomato sauce with some added flavor. It was pretty poor quality for what we paid. The carnita verde tasted like bland stewed pork. The quesadillas tasted pre frozen, the burritos were bland with stiff tortillas. And the supreme cheese sauce is literally canned chili dumped into some melted cheddar cheese sauce. Not anything like queso. Over all it was just laughable how bad it was. But the service was great and our kids were behaved so it could have been worse. Even my kids who eat most things, they are not picky eaters, were surprised how bad it was, and Iâve got five kids and they all didnât like it. There are too many competing Mexican restaurants to serve that bad of food. Well the upside to our experience is that I wonât ever wonder if Joes Mexican is going to be any good. I can permanently check it off our family night out list!

Food is mid. But it's non-authentic Tex Mex so you should know already.

My third visit, food is always good, but service was terrible. Management had two servers for entire place, didn't see Management step in to help at all. Ordered a Black Apple Blackberry Cider, served in a 10 ounce mini-mug...asked why the short pour, they said it's 11% abv...researched cider, their website indicated 6.9% abv...caught them lying, pointed that out, they asked me to leave.

I came on taco Tuesday to see what the fuss was, but they were very bland and barely had any meat. I can say that my service was very friendly and fast though, so I tipped my waitress well.
