Starbucks Coffee Company on Rogers Avenue in Fort Smith is one of the first locations in Arkansas, recently renovated. The coffee is really good, though the extras in it can be inconsistent. The food and coffee is always good, with specific mentions of the warm, fluffy, and delicious Bacon Egg Bites, the great winter cookies, and good cake pops. The atmosphere is great, clean, and renovated, with baristas who take pride in their store. The staff are great, friendly, upbeat, and work very hard, going above and beyond with efficient and great service even during busy times; they recognize regulars, often have your drink memorized, and may offer complimentary items or refills.

The interior seating area is a little small, featuring only about five tables and ten chairs plus a small patio. The remodel replaced comfortable chairs and tables with tiny tables, cutting the sitting area by half to fit a to-go model, resulting in an objectively less pleasant experience for those wishing to work or stay awhile. Most guests use the Drive Thru and To-Go Pick Up, so the interior can fill up quickly. Parking can get congested with drive-thru traffic, though easier parking is available. Despite the limited seating, the excellent, lively customer service and clean facility make it a favorite for many, ensuring a return visit.
