Black Howler Beer Company is a hidden gem close to the airport, with amazing staff and great beers. The taproom is beautiful and open-feeling, offering a solid, wide variety of beers with no laser focus on one type. The Irish red and brown ale were both great choices. The place is clean, not noisy, and they will put your flight on the TV. They have a lovely patio and an enclosed area perfect for dogs. The beer is delicious, reasonably priced, and the staff are welcoming and easy to work with, even for hosting events like a wedding social hour. For non-beer drinkers, they offer unflavored seltzer with pumps of syrup, like peach and mojito mint, which is refreshing. There is barbecue sold in a tent outside, or you can bring your own food. Clean bathrooms and a bright, comfortable atmosphere make it a great spot to unwind. The beer is second to none, and the hands-on owners are great guys. The only wish is to finish the lower tier of the outdoor space, maybe with a fire pit for the fall.
