As a transplant, originally from a small town in Nebraska. I was SO excited when I saw Daylight Donuts. The Daylight in Elkhorn closed while I was in the military and to be honest nothing quite compared to that perfect glazed from Daylight. Daylight Donuts is a staple in the community! Their donuts are made fresh daily and they have all the different flavors and kinds of donuts one would want. Ava, my favorite employee, told me to try the biscuits and gravy because it was her favorite. She was right....the biscuits and gravy are out of this world! Tastes like my mommas!
Got donut holes (AKA munchkins,) a Bavarian Cream filled Long-John, & an order of biscuits & gravy. Everything was delicious! The store was clean & has a nice little area to sit. They are always friendly & helpful. I love stopping in on my way to work. It's always a bright spot on my day.
