El Amigo Feliz is an excellent Mexican restaurant at a desolate crossroad. The food is great on the road. It is an above average Mexican spot. The Taste of the House, which is beef, chicken and shrimp over a bed of rice and drizzled with queso, was very tasty. The crunchy ground beef taco was decent. The guac dip was just ok, with a texture that was not chunky and a flavor like store-bought guac. The tacos were great. The food is sort of bland, but the portions are generous and prices reasonable. The Bean and Rice were another kind of delicious. The salsa was delicious on the mild side. The chip was crispy and light. The service was good, super nice, and with a smile. Everyone was super nice. The atmosphere is wonderful. There is plenty of semi parking and regular car parking. The restaurant is convenient if passing through. The prices are fair.
