Traveling from Texas we found this gem of a place to eat. Food is how food used to be made. From scratch, with love and it’s delicious. We had the chicken fried steak and chicken tenders basket the first day. The second day we had the monte cristo and chicken tenders basket. Paradise pie and pecan pie are to die for. Sweet people, cute place, DELICIOUS food.

I kept hearing how great this place was so we went and tried it. I got a bad vibe as soon as I walked in. We waited a bit before someone actually came to get our order. Put our order in and got the food which was ok. Portions seemed to be ok for a lunch dish. Then we needed refills and never saw our server so we asked another server who walked by us and was told that she couldn’t do it that she had to get our server. Never heard of this anywhere. Good service is when you help all around without question. Then I went to pay our bill and it was way over what was expected. Never going there again. Paid dinner prices for linch. Horrible service and costs way too much for the quality and for the portions.

Stopped here on our way back to Texas. Food was good my husband had the arrow burger and I had the 2 meat plate. I personally am used to Texas bbq so I think my bbq taste buds are different. But the service was amazing. I did not get our waitress name but she was blonde with glasses and her service was probably the best service I have ever received.

Eaten here many times when we r in this area. Always good food-tasty, well seasoned, LOVE their slaw! Broccoli salad good today! Yummy chicken and dressing, yum cornbread! Sweet people!

I don’t know who the owners are, but they need to teach their daughter a thing or two about respect! The daughter literally yelled for everyone to hear all because the server asked her a question about a side item. I’m all about supporting small businesses, but I will not be supporting this business if this is how they treat their employees. The employees make the business money, keep treating them like this then this place will be closed.
