“Me and my Buddy Tristen wanted to eat here so bad with the fellas but they were all skeptical. We loaded everybody up and headed that way. "I dont want to eat here" most of them shouted. But me and my Buddy Tristen knew we were about to have a special meal. Boy were we not disappointed. This might be the best breakfast you can find in the whole state. We turned everyone into Peggy Sue fanatics. Justice for me and my Buddy Tristen.”
“If you need a high quality place to eat, go here. Having trouble finding good places to eat since everything was fast food, and this ended up being a great sit-in restaurant. Food is good quality, service is quick, and bathrooms are really nice.”
“Price was too high for what you get, in my opinion. Food was quality, but I had to add seasoning myself. It was bland. Staff was nice. Waitress didn't give us the specials. Heard them from another Waitress at the table next to us after we ordered. Restaurant was clean.Overall, it was a nice place but overpriced and my food was bland.I tried to call the owner who responded to this review, but it is a non working #. I'd be glad to chat with her though if it helps.”
“Great barbecue, unexcelled service and reasonable prices. You couldn't ask for much more than that. Highly recommend you drop in next time you're in Heber Springs.”
“I ate at Las Playitas for the first time this weekend and will definitely go back. The menu is large and varied. My friends enjoyed traditional items such as enchiladas, served on one plate with sides of rice, beans, a little salad, and guacamole. They commented in particular that the enchiladas were large and very filling. The guacamole looked really good to me, a little chunky with finely diced tomatoes and onions. I was impressed with the number of seafood options on the menu, and ordered Seven Mares (Seven Seas) soup, served with 3 warm flour tortillas and a couple of lime wedges. It was delicious! It is a nicely seasoned broth- based soup loaded with seafood - large shrimp, crabmeat, chunks of tilapia, several mussels, scallops, octopus - plus cauliflower, carrots, and some diced tomatoes and onions. The soup was served steaming hot in a large bowl, honestly enough for 2 people. It's a great deal for $15. If you like seafood, you must try this soup. They also offer a spicy shrimp soup with rice. We were all impressed by the reasonable food prices and generous portions. Next time I'm in town, I will go back and save room for dessert - options include my favorites, flan, and sopapillas with ice cream.”
“Phenomenal pizza! We had the Ole Smoky and the Thai pizza and both were excellent, but the Thai pizza was transcendent! Atmosphere was laid back, only 10 tables in the place but service moved quickly and the wait for our food wasn't long! We will definitely be back!”
“This place was awesome. My mom had the vegetable soup and I had a cheeseburger and both were great. The restaurant was spotless and the staff was so nice. We will be repeat customers for sure.”
“Always a good experience , sometimes there is a wait when they are busy but overall really good food and wonderful workers and good serviceWheelchair accessibility: wheelchair accessible at most tables”
“Very nice lady who owns it. It's a small restaurant in a very small town. Great hot and sour soup. They have a mix of Asian food and Mexican food. Also, have all you eat menu.”
“The food was great. After a staff member heard that it was my birthday tomorrow (it's today now), they brought a slice of cake out and sang happy birthday ?”
“Stopped here on the way through town. Excellent food and the onion rings were on point! Super friendly service and excellent prices. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!!Parking: Around 15 spots”
“Food was great and service was even better. Outside seating is right next to a river with great views. The buffet was small but everything was very tasty.Dietary restrictions: The menu had many keto diet friendly choices.”
“Im recently relocated here and my friend is showing me all the best little places in the area for all the things. We were out this way today, and we got a box of "big dippers" to share. We both picked Buffalo sauce for our 'dipper'.Im glad we stopped. The chicken pieces were large and very well prepared. They were fresh and hot. Between two of us, we couldn't finish the box, we brought home 1/3 of it. So... three can eat chicken for $6-$7. We didn't want sides. They had several to pick from and they were reasonably priced as well seeing the serving sizes that other customers received. There was a large line that the employees moved though quickly, courteously, professionally. Even though there were so many customers, they still managed to stay on top of having enough fresh food for the hot case. There are a few tables towards the front if you'd like to eat-in, but Champs Chicken is a counter towards the back of the Shell station there on the corner.Kinda convenient because its a little gas station store too. The food, which we got fresh, is absolutely worth the visit wherever you choose to eat it at.”
“They have a new name:OUTREACH CENTER of New Life Church. This is a wonderful place to receive the help needed to negotiate a difficult world. We all need help sometimes. It also a place to give back to the community during our times of abundance. It is managed by an amazingly loving and compassionate group of members of New Life Church.”
“I happened to be there on a day they were short handed and busy, yet they still provided prompt, friendly service and great food! All around, a great place to go. I highly recommend their grilled chicken wrap and spicy cheese curds.”
