“Long review due to memory lane trip. So I'll start off saying, great flavors the entire menu so you get what you need to know in case you want to skip the story, lol.
I mean skip the book, OMG I thought it was a few paragraphs. Nope it's a book.

So,,,,, i was looking for an above average burger that was the typical fast food chain burger joint. This is where I grew up but I had not been home in years and there weren't many places left I remembered from back then. Smoke house was still there but packed like I remembered so. I googled to find what's new. Coldwater Grill came up and there were not much accept chain restaurants. So I pulled up ColdWater Grill and the restaurants photo appeared and it looked familiar. Pulled the map and headed that way. As I got within a couple miles of the location I looked closer at the map and pulled up directions rather than map view. I thought where could this place be, it must be pretty close to one of my best friends mother's old restaurant. With that thought I went back to map view. Looking closer I thought they must have put it right next to her old place. As I was close enough to see a couple buildings, I could see a place shaped similar but not exactly where hers used to be. Well they must have built close to old place and torn hers down or it's blocking hers from my view. As I was close enough to turn in I paid closer attention to the entrance because it was a very wide entrance than it was before. Then as I had made the turn and could scan the area again to access Coldwaters location, I didn't see it or her place either. Then I focused on parking and it seemed like exact parking as before and when I looked up at the building it took a few seconds before I realized what a paint job and widenď entrance can make. Same old place, same excellent food. Never cared for the long cut pickles on any burger, has a twang tart flavor don't sit with me. Replaced them with hit sauce like the old days. Great burger flavor and fries extra crispy with a crunchy outside if you ask for an extra minute cook time. Brought back memories like I went back in time when the old wooden swinging bridge was there. For real, the bridge is long been gone and I didn't even notice it gone. But that first bite Brought it right back to mind. I literally stood up walked to the door and looked for it and remembered it had fallen from too much weight from old age plus capacity of folks on it. I only heard about it falling and a large group rocking it to make it sway side to side. We did it many times as youths and once it was swinging it would get to sounding like it would snap so we would run like crazy to get off it from boards crackling and cables stretching and you could feel the shape and see the old wood spread wider on the walkway. Seen probably 10-12 big planks snap and fall off leaving holes you had to watch for, especially after dark. Sorry if I made a memory lane trip, but couldnt hold back sharing that. Lots of good food on the menu, really good home style flavor.“
