Brothers’ BBQ Food Review
Heber Springs, Arkansas:
I can’t tell you how many times I must have driven past this place on my way to the lake or the world famous Little Red River at the JFK Campground not knowing it was there.
I happened to be in the area today to pick up a dumpster for my business, Mr. Good Dumpsters, but things didn’t go as planned this morning so I searched Google Maps for a good lunch to hopefully heal my hangry mood.
I found Brothers’ BBQ. They are tucked back away from the main road so I couldn’t see them but I did notice an old faded sign on the shoulder I have never seen before and needs to be replaced.
The place wasn’t too busy when I first arrived at 11:30 on a Saturday but there was quite a crowd by the time I left. You will most likely be greeted by one of the sweetest servers you could hope to find. If Brothers were a person he might be Don Williams: smooth classic country second home. “Lord, I Hope This Day is Good” is often a song that comes to mind when things don’t go the way I planned and fortunately, my prayers were answered.
Brothers BBQ turned my day around for the better with some good smoky ribs and chicken, classic potato salad and corn on the cob. If you have a gluten allergy like I do, they say the meats do not have have wheat or gluten and the hot sauce is okay but stay away from the the mild sauce as it does contain gluten. I wish they had a honey bbq sauce or some other sauce option because the hot sauce was okay but not my favorite.
The smoky flavor was delicious by itself though and would probably have been lost in the sauce, so I can deal with it.
I meant to ask for an order of fries because when I called ahead sbout hluten free options they said the fries are not fried in shared equipment but a dedicated fryer. I guess I’ll just have to look forward to my next visit to Brother’s BBQ. Shucks. 😉

Was visiting arkansas with my family last weekend and stumbled across brothers when choosing dinner options. We got the platter with a little bit of everything and it did not disappoint. Some of the best pulled pork and ribs I've ever had and probably the best chicken wings I've ever tried. The beans were also fantastic and the potato salad is so good you could have it for breakfast. I have one complaint. We were asked specifically if we wanted mild or hot bbq sauce and we asked for both. We got neither and didn't realize it till we were back at the hotel with our food. So if i could give it a 4.9, i would for that reason. Other than that, everything was absolutely amazing and i will definitely be back if im in the area and suggest any friends visiting the area do the same.
Food was great. Service was good. Friendly servers. I had ribs and the were great.

This place was gorgeous outside and the Barbecue was actually the best I've had in Arkansas being a Texan born and knowing good barbecue is just something I'm custom too so living in Arkansas last 10 years and finding good barbecue is a special thing.....WAY TOO GO BROTHERS BBQ

We came in the Friday after 4th of July and we were so happy to see them as busy as they were. Everyone worked together to get us seated and served quickly. We have never had bad food or bad service here and can’t recommend them enough!!
My husband and I stopped in and ordered pulled pork and rib platters. We were not impressed with our order. Baked beans looked and tasted like mushy pork and beans heated up no flavor as the coleslaw didn’t taste very fresh. We are from another state and love BBQ. We will give it another chance hopefully it will be a lot better! The garlic buttered roll were awesome!
