Wonderful

I wasn't going to make a review, however I am now that I got up throwing up. I had the speckled trout yesterday and since i hadnt had it since we moved from the VA coast i was pretty excited for it. As soon as it came out it smelled rancid, i had afew bites of it to make sure that's it was what I thought, and then I sent it back and was told the chef said it was fine, I had worked in the industry on the east coast for nearly a decade and spoiled seafood isnt something to be messed around with, spoiled seafood can be and in some cases lethal, absolutely unacceptable. The food came out hot but unfortunately most of it was bland, except for the fried green tomatoes, those were pretty good, the calamar was pretty underwhelming too and over seasoned.

And this is for anyone who is interested and may not know this small of a trade secret, if it has a health inspection you can look up the results, it's all public record, and in-proper handling of seafood has been a constant issue with this place. This was the first and last time we will be going.

Amazing Cajun dishes. Gumbo was delicious. Not spicy like the menu says but recommend for non spicy eaters.

Crab cakes- excellent- full of crab not filler.
Calamari has a dipping sauce that is the perfect amount of heat and sweet. Like nothing you have ever had before.
Catfish- out of this world- cooked thin, best cocktail sauce.
Crawfish etouffee- perfect amount of heat, tons of crawfish!

The catfish are shrimp platter was great I will recommend this place

Always the best dining experience ever. Their fresh seafood selections are exquisite. Add the Ponchatrain sauce for a wonderful addition. Chef Dewitt and Sherrye run a wonderful business, with wonderful service. Adults should enjoy the Ben’s Retreat side for a wonderful service experience from Annie and Wes. Never a bad meal.

We’ve been coming to Zeke’s and Lilly’s since they opened, but sadly this was our last visit. When we arrived, there was only one couple eating. We placed our order, but while we waited, two large groups came in after us, ordered, and received their food before we did.

When our food finally arrived, it was cold, bland, and tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. It was incredibly disappointing, especially given how much we used to enjoy this place. Whatever has changed recently — in service or kitchen — it’s not for the better.

I have never felt more targeted in a place to eat than this place. It was our first time in this town and we were very excited to try this place out. We were looked over as soon as we walked in (group of 7). First we couldn't sit together, and then we waited almost two hours. The wait wasn't the issue, it was that literally every table around us that was seated AFTER us was served. When we asked for the check because at this point we were ready to go, we were told we couldn't cancel our order or they'd call the police.

We stopped in after riding the mountains all day. We ordered drinks, the spicy margaritas, and they were just the right amount of spicy and salty, and the size was on point. We ordered the calamari, crab cakes and fried tomatoes for appetizers. All delicious, and plenty in amount. I knew immediately after taking a bite of the crab cake, it was blue crab. The crab cakes are in my top 3!! The real deal yall!! I got the sensation salad as part of my meal, and me and my husband think that dressing is addictive...now for the entrees...I got the new York strip, cooked med rare, cabbage and Mashed potatoes... EXCELLENT. The crust on my steak was perfect. My hubs got the shrimp and grits and he loved it! The shrimp were cooked perfectly, as were the grits. The sauce was delicious. We got the bread pudding for dessert and ate all we could, but had to take the rest home because we couldn't possibly eat anymore even though we wanted to lol...
Our waitress was Aliyah (hope i spelled it correctly), and she was the best!! This place is on our "definitely eat there again" list, and we will be customers everytime we are in Heber. 10 outta 10

This restaurant is wonderful. I am also from Louisiana and the Chef is right in!

Parking: You will have plenty of parking.

Had the Calamari and the Duck. The Calamari was really good, served with the pepper jelly like I enjoy. The Duck was AMAZING X 10 WOW! Best meal I've had in Heber Springs over the last 4 years!

The food was outstanding! The crab cake and fried green tomato app is very nice.

My wife had a shrimp pasta dish that was well done! I had a ribeye and wish I had gotten the pasta.

Bread pudding dessert was great!

I paid almost $30 just for catfish n fries n the catfish was paper thin like crust only , I will never go back there again!! Waitress was friendly but catfish is terrible!!

We picked up boat today and decided to stop in for lunch.. Super Delicious Food and Friendly Staff! Highly Recommend!
