“This was my first time to eat at Not your Mama’s Kitchen in Salem, Ark. It was raining and I was out yard saling and wanted something quick. I had heard nothing but good things about this place. I ran up and ordered the chicken salad sandwich special with the chips and tropical fruit salad, and grabbed a brownie. Let me tell you Steve let me pick what part of the brownie I wanted… corners, sides, and of course -I got the middle. I went to eat in my truck and could not stop eating the homemade chips long enough to even start on anything else. They were excellent hands-down best I’ve had anywhere. The chicken salad was a little different, but it was also perfect and don’t get me talking about that yummy fruit salad with the poppyseed dressing. Well, I didn’t order the burgers this place is absolutely known for but the salad was awesome. They also have hotdogs of various kinds, chicken sandwiches, specials, and you won’t be disappointed in the food or the service. These people have also been named Best food truck in multiple competitions. I can see why !!! I would give them six stars if I could, but I’m only allowed to give five. If you haven’t tired them - please support this small local business and let them fix you up some really good lunch. They’re open from 10:30 a.m. until 7 PM so you can even grab some supper if you’re in a hurry or before or after ball games this summer . They are open Tuesday through Saturday and also accept call in orders at 870-371-4333. Call and let these fine folks have them ready when you get there a big thumbs up for sure. Tammy Curtis”

“This is not only the best place to eat in Salem AR, but also among the best Mexican food we've had, period. And we've ate real Mexican food visiting Texas in the past. Good people, nice staff, decent price, plate piled high. Great selection. We cannot speak highly enough about them. We've been supported them since Manny started in a small food truck across from mother's house. 10* out of 5* .”

“We came from Tuckerman to the finals of district tournament tonight & we arrived to DQ after 8pm, it was busy with other patrons who had been to the games also. There was a lady working the counter who was very nice and accommodating. Even when we were there past closing, she was very friendly. I didn’t catch her name & I don’t have my receipt. Kudos to her and your staff who were working!”

“I say this with reservations. and I don't mean reservations of the restaurant kind because nobody answers the phone so you can't get reservations. We are the kind of customers that you would like to keep, we live less than a mile from Papa Dick's, we will be there summer, winter, fall.... you name it. however when you call nine times and can never get anyone to answer the phone You start thinking about your other options. We called the pizza in with the intentions of going to get it this evening. We called and were on hold for 9 minutes waiting for someone to pick up the phone. Called on a second phone and straight to voice mail. So finally we decided it's faster to go up and get the pizza. Which meant going to the restaurant, ordering the pizza and having to wait for it. As I said we live very close so one of our party went in, ordered the pizza, and came home. In 20 minutes he went back to get the pizza... in 30 minutes he finally got back home because the pizza took an additional 20 minutes past when they said it would be done. The pizza was good, the cheesy bread was good, the food is always good I don't have a problem with that, but in the time it took to complete what should have been a simple transaction, we could have run to Ash Flat and had a few more choices. Fix the phone problem.... or the employee problem whatever the problem is it needs to be fixed.”
