Run down and nasty. Air in rooms does not work. Holes in the walls. Over priced food and quality. I do not recommend this to anyone.

While I absolutely adore the charm of the lobby/ bar unfortunately the rest of the property is not as desirable. We did not feel comfortable walking with bare feet on the carpet as it was in complete disrepair. The water (mineral water room) went out for a portion of our stay. During our stay the entire hotel switched from cool AC to heat and since we were on the 10th floor our room became absolutely hot and moist feeling. We were provided a box fan which did help a bit and we were grateful that was provided. I've stayed at the Arlington twice in the past but this third time will sadly have to be my last until the property is renovated and kept up with. My past stays we at least felt as if the carpet was clean and we did not have the issues with the air. I have always adored the property and in the past felt as though even with its age the cleaning was better kept up with and could feel comfortable, but the cleaning is no longer up to par. My primary complaint with this trip was the fact that the bath house lost my reservation for the party room with the mimosa bar for my girlfriends and I. I should have called a third time to validate. When I originally booked the party room and "the works" service for my 3 friends and I it was for 1:30 in the afternoon. After speaking with my friends we decided we needed more travel time and would need a later reservation. So, I called back and referenced my original reservation and the receptionist had no issue locating my original reservation and changing the time to 2:30. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were told there was no record of my reservation what so ever. While on the phone with the receptionist when making and changing the reservation I asked multiple times if I needed to provide a credit card or a deposit of some kind and was assured it was not necessary. I provided the names and information for my girlfriends and l and was assured the reservation was set. This was a moms get away weekend and for us to arrive by our appointment time we had to do a lot of planning and early rising as we had a 4.5 hour drive. So, when we were told our reservation did not exist I was extremely frustrated to say the least. During our appointment the electricity did go out due to a storm. It is no fault of the property as this can happen during storms and we're accustomed to it. However, when we asked the staff about what was going on with the weather in order to relax and enjoy our appointment we weren't given really any information. I would have anticipated perhaps one of the girls at the reception to have some sort of insight into the weather or have to called the front desk to inquire about the power outage, but absolutely no information could be provided. So, essentially we could not relax and enjoy our experience and we paid quite a lot to have a non relaxing time.

We have been staying here for Derby weekend for about the past 15 years and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. The carpet it so filthy looking you don’t dare walk on it, mold in the bathroom, inconsistent hot water, and dust under my nightstand. Two years ago the ceiling paint kept peeling off when the fan was turned on. Needless to say this was our last year!

We have stayed here in the past and after this weekend we probably won't in the future. While we love the nostalgia of the hotel and the amazing lobby, the rooms are in need of major repairs and updates. Black mold, dirty walls, bathrooms not cleaned well, and a bad smell. Pros- the air works well and the bed was comfortable.

Stood in line this morning for 15 minutes while one girl meagerly attended to the customers before leaving for another coffee shop.
Went back later in the day and couldn’t get a frappachino and settled for a medium coffee drink because they had no large cups…

The atmosphere inside the store is nice and retro.Coffee is the best. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this tastes better than other Starbucks.I'll come back later.

I just wanted to give a huge shout out to the staff at the hotel! Especially SAMMY JOE AT THE FROTN DESK! Big smiles and welcoming hand shakes. The place definitely has a vintage vibe and the rooms are comfortable.

Good coffee and open super ealy. They sell alcohol, Arlington resort goodies, travel sized items and of course Starbucks coffee. They are not a Starbucks though and won't accept Starbucks cards.
