El Jimador

I love this place! First food off the plane and we have returned many times! Food is consistently delicious and quickly served. Servers are attentive and friendly. Can accommodate large parties.

Fajita nachos with jalapenos and frozen margaritas are the best!!

Salsa and chips were yummy. Great fajitas!

El Jimador is amazing. Located in The Villages in Hot springs Arkansas, I was visiting my brother and his wife and they took us to El Jimador for dinner. I ordered a dish with Jimador in the name - it may have been Enchiladas Jimador and it was truly delicious. A friend ordered grilled shrimp with avocado slices and it was served with rice and a sprinkling off white cheese

I ordered a large Margarita and it was served in a large goblet. However, it tasted a little watered down and not very strong. My brother and his wife ordered the frozen Margarita and those margaritas tasted like the real thing. Perhaps it was because the tequila and the mix was suspended in the ice.

I am sure that this restaurant does not lack for customers since it is located in The Villages in Hot Springs. If you are visiting however, don't miss this treasure of a restaurant!

All of the issues referenced in the old posts evidently have been addressed. New vinyl flooring-clean, tables appear new and clean. A/C working well. And my chimichanga supreme was wonderful, generous portions and very tasty

Great Mexican food! The staff were friendly and the ambience was good!

We were a group of 8, we were quickly seated and promptly served our drinks. Didnt wait long for our food orders to come out steaming hot and delicious. The waiter was very polite and even played with the kids a bit. I had one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I eat out frequently and will definitely be back.

Food was hot and flavorful. Prices average for today's market. 3rd time to go and not disappointed any time.

Very good version of typical Hispanic fare. Chimichangas, burritos, quesadillos, nachos, street tacos, etc. I highly recommend the chimichangas. The portions are more than generous, so go very hungry, split with a friend, or be prepared to carry leftovers home. The Mexico 🇲🇽 Coke classic is SO good!

I’ve eaten at all the Mexican restaurants in the village. There is a total of 5. LOL! (We need more of a variety). However, this one is the champion out of the 5 ???

Great food. Service was a little slow. The waitress was also bartending, and that slowed her down, for sure. The atmosphere was okay except for the extremely bright lights. Way too bright for a relaxing experience. Great food, though.

Let me start by explaining the 2 stars for food. The presentation is great, portion was big, the meat had absolutely no flavor or seasoning. I gave it 2 stars because, aside from our meat entrees, the rice and beans are amazing. Our server was amazing, very attentive, and nice. This would have gotten 4-5 stars, but the meat was worth the deduction. Im a firm believer in a fair review, and i am always honest. Everything else was great.

My husband and I recently dined here while visiting HSV and we were very happy with our experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was festive and our waitress was sweet. My shrimp soup was scrumptious - so flavorful with lots of shrimp and veggies. We will definitely be back!
